The Bridge Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Texas

Place got remodeled and the new set up is nice... no cover charge BUT you have to consume at least $25.00 minimum just to sit at the bar (Very Wrong!) , tables cost money too, it's like 60 dollars or something like that to get a table... then they got vip areas that cost even more! Its like, you literally have to spend money just to be in there and probably get drunk just to get your moneys worth ... in my opinion, if I wanna go to a bar and spend $5 , $10 or $300 , that should be my choice. I didn't even try to use they're bathrooms, wouldn't surprise me if they were gonna charge me $5 or $10 to pee !!!! Lol ! FYI, I had over $1,000 in my pocket that night, but my wife thought it was so ridiculous and wanted to leave. Its the principle of it all. With this said, the place is nothing special, just a nice bar, yet...

I've been to this place twice. The first time I only had 2 drinks because they were expensive and not worth it and the karaoke dude never let me sing til the end of the night even though I had signed up earlier and other people that had sang already kept being called up.

The second time just made it apparent that this place isn't worth it. 1)They claim to not have well drinks. Their "well" is $9 for anything! 2) Then they give you nasty "orange juice" from the gun that tastes nothing like oj. 3) Again I wanted to sing and the guy just nodded and seemed to ignore me and didn't even ask my name. Apparently he only let's the people he knows sing. I also noticed 2 other people that went to sign up and never sang yet he kept calling his friends up...

I called ahead of time and asked If they were going to televise UFC 239 and was told that they were with free admission. My girl and I decided to go in the company of my bro in law and his date. First of all, they did not televise the fight. Second, the waiter charged us 15% gratuity on a table of 4. We were never given notice of this prior to ordering. I'm an excellent tipper and would have tipped him over 15%. He didn't tell me about the gratuity until I asked him for the receipt. He wanted to double dip with the automatic tip and the one I was going to leave behind. The service was average and I think the drinks were overpriced. I seriously doubt we'll be back. I normally don't like to post negative reviews but this place is a scam...
