Room was clean but when we needed the heater it didn't work. 2 cold and rainy days demanded the need for heat. There was a gap between the AC/furnace unit and the wall which allowed even more cold air to enter the room. I reported the issue to the front desk and the lady didn't seem surprised. She was going to look for a different room for us but it's a pain to have to pack up your stuff so she gave us extra blankets and a towel to put over the gap. For some reason the gap being covered made the room stink. It was awful. We left for the day after removing the towel and the smell mostly went away. First night there we had a roach in the room. No coffee anywhere in the building. I have never been to another extended stay or any other hotel that did not have a coffee pot at least in the lobby. Every morning I drove to the gas station for coffee. If you want extra towels or sheets you have to pay for them. We used the same towels for a week but luckily the place has a washer and dryer so I was able to wash them. The towels were not very big and they were rather thin in my opinion. The room came with the 2 towels, 2 small bars of soap and 2 plastic cups. I had to ask for wash clothes as they must have forgot to put them in the room. No big deal there. Things happen. One roll of unopened toilet paper and a partial roll on the holder. There is no carpet in the rooms which I don't mind except for the people upstairs dragging their chairs across the floor at all hours of the night. I guess it wouldn't hurt for management to put something on the legs of the chairs so they don't make all that horrible noise. I always try to be considerate of people above me below me and next to me. I guess not everybody is that way. The staff that I dealt with were nice although one seemed kind of reluctant to give me an another roll of toilet paper when we ran out because they want guests to supply their own though she did not charge me for it. I am home after spending a week there and it still blows my mind how that place operates. No compensation given or offered for the lack of heat. we had to wear our coats and shoes in the room during those cold rainy days. The gap between the wall and the AC unit was big enough to see outside down to the parking lot. If you want to be outside on the nice evenings be prepared to sit on the curb or stand. No benches whatsoever and believe me there is plenty of room for at least 2. The location wasn't the greatest for us, it was right next to the expressway and our room was on that side so it was pretty noisy unless the air conditioning was on and that drowned out the outside noise. There was nothing close by 2 do or to walk too but I know that can be common with hotels . We were pretty anxious to check out of that hotel. So anxious that we were gone by 9:15 in the morning and check out is at 11 o'clock am. I don't plan on staying there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

First of all I don't ever make posts about places I never leave reviews, but I checked in to this hotel and specifically this address 1207 W Expy 83, Pharr, TX 78577 I walked into a room that not only had Blood on the doors when I entered but also roaches on my night stand, also the faucet in the shower is falling off. This is very disgusting and needs to be cleaned. Not up to any hotel or Motel standard. They also refused to refund my money because they have a zero refund policy. They didn't tell my about that till after I wanted to leave Do not stay here

If u are thinking on arriving after 8pm, chances are u are not going to get the room you booked. Save yourself the hassle and take your business somewhere else, even if u get there and try having someone help you through their lobby phone nobody will answer and if you try calling their customer support line they will blame you and not help, even going as far as admitting they dont have any way to get a hold of whoever is supposed to be responsible for check-ins. Terrible service in person (non existant) and by phone.

If it was up to me i would put no stars , i have been having problems with an employee name edith thats works there ..she is short wears alot of make up and has highlights ..when i first stayed there i have been locked out of my room various times not to mention the roaches in the room and that employee edith went into my room and i was current on my payment and i still had more than enough days left before check out so I really dont know why she would be going into my room when she assumed me and my family went out to town ?? Which also my husband pocket change was missing it was only like $11 which he left next to the tv that was turned off after we left the tv on before going out with a pair of silver earrings which till this day I haven’t found .. Also the rudeness and disrespectful manner she speaks to my children is very unprofessional in her part as an employee, if she has no patience to help guest then she shouldn’t be working at a hotel. I wanted to get linen service at one point and edith an another employee made me wash my own sheets and towels before asking for clean ones which makes no sense of linen services if i have to wash my own sheets and towels before asking for new ones ?? Also im not allowed to have visitors who have pets unless i pay for the pet deposit when i dont have any pets but i do have family who have pets but aren’t allowed to visit me if they have pets when this is a pet friendly hotel? Also when im locked out of my room she is the only one not to fix my key on purpose when every other employee fixes my key like nothing , my family almost slept outside in our vehicle one night because i was to tired to drive to look for another hotel because there was no one to fix my key after 11pm when i got back from spending time with family members which took 3 hours before i was able to go in because of another guest who was nice enough to help me open my room with one of the main keys he was given 2 nights ago from one of the employees because he too was having problems with his key constantly which i dont know if i should have been thankful that he helped us out or concern for me and family safety that a complete stranger who doesn’t work there had a main key to open any door from this hotel ..and also it shouldn’t of crossed my mind at all for me to rent another room for the night anywhere else because I already had a room there at woodsprings .We have had the worst experience here in this hotel . I will...

This is the review you’re looking for to help you decide weather or not to book with WoodSpring Suite let me start off by saying the customer service was very unprofessional this took place July 14, 2023 during night shift the person in the front desk was very rude and did not take her job seriously I was not there for long but during the time that I was there she was in a bad mood and seemed like she didn’t want to be there along with her comping about day shift not handling their job duties she was very vulgar moving on as I was checking in she started nodding her head when seeing that I knew right off the back there was going to be problems sure enough she starts telling me I don’t know why they gave you this room as she explained to me that room had been out of order for days and has a bad smell along with the AC not working yet she booked me in and asked me to check for myself to see if the room had been fixed as I entered the room that was assigned to me right off the back a strong urine smell was there I immediately closed the door and went to the front desk and made a complaint and asked to be moved to another room I was told the only room that was available was a smoking room to which I declined because that is not what I booked I asked for a refund back I was given a copy only of the payment I did and was told in 7 business days you will see your refund obviously a week later I contacted the manager (Dorothy) she was also rude and refused to give me the refund I was promised by the front desk she said accommodations were offered to me as I explained to her offering me a smoking room is not an accommodation because that is not what I requested when I made my reservation for my stay this is the first time I have ever had such a bad experience but I will not be making the same...
