Muelle 37 — Restaurant in Texas

We have gone to Muelle 37 many times but never to the Pharr location. We were running some errands closeby and decided to stop by for late lunch, it was around 5pm and there was only 3 tables but mostly empty, we started out by asking for a shrimp cocktail and a few drinks, the cocktail itself took almost 20mins to arrive, we noticed it took long but did not think much of ir, we then proceeded to order our plates, the waitress took our order and left. 25mins later we asked why our food was taking long and she replies, sorry we are out of beans and rice and we are currently making new batches, if you like to wait 20-30 mins it will be ready and we can serve your dishes or else ask for another dish, we thought it was ridiculous since most of the plates have rice, we told her we were willing to wait. 10 mins later she comes with our plates loaded with extra french fries, we told her why did they bring the plates if we were willing to wait for the rest to be ready, she said it was the cooks fault for being new... we dont plan on going back at least not to this location. Almost 3 hours spent in the restaurant just to wait for two...

First time going and the last, NEVER AGAIN! I really understand that sometimes places are crazy crowded and the place been small doesn't helped either. I get it. What i dont get is that if you have 2 tables empty available, was it really to much to let us move from a 4 chair table to a 6 chair table, we were 2 kids and 3 adults and 1 more adult on their way. We asked nicely to the waitress, that after my question made faces and just say, ill asked the manager, she never came back i had to call her and asked her again and she said no, at that time I told her to put all the food to go, which we were still waiting for, and she made more faces, even when I asked her to please bring me 4 cups for the drinks, which were completely full and i was not going to leave behind because i mean, i paid for them. The manager didnt even bother to go talk with me or offering us the table, wich was not been used. I been to other places where is also crazy busy but they try their best to not...

I had a disappointing experience at Muelle 37 Seafood Restaurant on Cage blvd in Pharr. that I feel compelled to share. First and foremost, this establishment is definitely not kid-friendly. I would never consider bringing my children here after what I witnessed.

During my visit, the TV was playing music videos from VEVO that were not only inappropriate but also quite disturbing. I found it shocking that such content was being shown in a family dining environment. When I brought my concerns to the attention of the waitress, she seemed indifferent and did nothing to address the situation.

This experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and I certainly won’t be returning to Muelle 37. I’m just grateful I didn’t have my children with me at the time. If you’re looking for a family-friendly dining experience, I would recommend...
