Ok so I’ve seen mixed reviews about this bbq spot and I always see it on my way home from work. I decided to give it a try and give my honest review. I ordered my food at the drive-thru and it took a good 15 minutes of me waiting in my car. No complaints here just letting you good people know. I got a rib plate with baked beans and potato salad. I also got a small order of chicken fried rice since I heard it was really good. I give the ribs a 5.8 out of 10(they were cooked well, but had a very small amount of sauce). Beans were a 5.1(Again barely any sauce, but were ok to eat). Potato salad will not get a score. Very bland and tasted like a batch that has been sitting in the pan for a while. Finally the chicken fried rice was a 5.4 for me. Not well seasoned and bean sprouts everywhere with no other vegetables other than some onions I found at the bottom. I gave 2 stars mainly because the ribs were cooked well and tender. Would not recommend coming here since there are plenty of other bbq spots on in Houston that will melt your tastebuds. The 2 crab cakes and shrimp was loaded down!! Came with fries and toast! It was way too much food for one person! It was only $10.99. It was all delicious even the cole slaw and I dont eat cole slaw but it was on the plate so I ate it. I think they use mustard in the crab cake mix which was different at first but im gonna try it next time I make em at home. I didnt try the sweet tea cuz they had those mexican cokes. Food was absolutely terrible, I ordered the BBQ plate with ribs , chop beef, beans and fried okra and nothing was edible. It tasted like imitation meat, when I called to ask how they would remedy the situation they told me I had to go through uber and then sent me a text on how to handle it on my own. After I waited for a call back. I would have even been ok with an apology and invitation to come back with a guaranteed reassurance of better service. I will never eat there again. Don't...
