Tropical City Daiquiris To Go — Restaurant in Texas

I meant to leave this review yesterday, oops!

Ok so, thankfully my entire drive wasn’t wasted because I had originally went elsewhere to get a drink. However, they are now in the practice, sometime within the last year, of no longer giving samples! How do I reasonably commit to a product purchase if I don’t know the product’s promise. With alcohol, you can’t just return it so down the street I went to here. They give the free samples and I was willing to spend for the favored product, so thank goodness they haven’t shot themselves in the foot here!!

I actually only needed the first sample that the worker, Domingo, had me try as I am not a drinker and didn’t really know what I was looking for other than I didn’t want to taste the alcohol until halfway in when I felt it and I wanted fruity. He suggested a particular drink and I liked it a lot. I knew I was going to buy it but he had happened to mention a mangonada one and I had just spent the last 8 months in and around Los Angeles so I def wanted to try it! I hadn’t bothered to finish the sample of the one I was buying but I did finish the mangonada, just because I try not to waste things & was already throwing away the other.

Overall, I have removed the “want to go” tag on the other place and will be having a heart for this one. Can’t wait to come back! For Domingo: Thanks for being so patient and kind in finding me a really good drink, and on the first try!! Hope you’re there when I come back, though I’m sure everyone else is...

My husband and I come here often but the service tonight was horrible. I'll be fair and say that the lady working tonight was working alone but that's no excuse for horrible customer service. We stood at the counter for over 5 minutes and she never acknowledged us. After she finished with the customers that she was handling, she walked over to the drive-thru window and began to help the customer there, still no acknowledgement. My husband then brings it to her attention that she hasn't even acknowledged us and that we had been there over 5 minutes. Instead of apologizing, or even anything else, she proceeds to tell is that we can leave if we don't like it. Not at all the customer service that I have come to expect from this place but I will never return again. I do not know her name but she's the rudest...

These drinks are delicious! My husband and I tried this place for the first time yesterday and was given a smaller size and over charged. After a short phone call the owner took care of us right away. Upon our return the staff was so sweet and accommodating. I was going to give 3 stars because one of the employees, female probably in her 30s, was rude and rolled her eyes when we brought to her attention there was an error. Because of the professional manner in which this was handled, I give it 5 stars. The error was not their fault but a supplier issue that has since been resolved. Still, there was no reason for her to behave in that manner. Other than this minor issue, we really enjoyed it. We will definitely...
