Okay so before I go into it, let me point 1 thing out. The ONLY reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 on atmosphere is because it was REALLY hot in the lobby, and there are only a few places to sit to wait (2 benches and like 4 or 5 hard metal stools that were a big nope for me). Alright, now for the rest of it.
Here is what we got. I ordered the spicy with a mozz cheese stick middle, and the 2 hand with a spicy dog. Daughter got the potato with a beef dog, and the 2 hand. Boyfriend got the same thing as me. We ordered a side of 1 singular order of kimchi fries, and 2 elotes. the 2 hand, by far, the absolute BEST with all of us. The spicy dog in the middle to me was absolute perfect for it by the way! The combination of the sweet and spicy was seriously the best thing I have had in a mean minute. Boyfriend, agreed. Daughter loved hers too with the standard dog. The spicy with the chesse was okay, not bad in any way, just not our favorite. Daughter said the potato was the same for her. We all 3 all around agree that the 2 hand was where it was at. They forgot to give us our fries but a phone call (use this phone number here not the one on the receipt) and they said we could come grab them the next day. Elotes was not my daughters favorite, but man did I love it. Grilled perfectly, and the flavor was a hit (I grew up eating elotes from the elotes man in our neighborhood so I have high standards). The kimchi fries. Let me start off with saying that we got 1 box for us all to try because we were hesitant. Bruh. No. DO NOT HESITATE! Call the popo because they must be laced with crack (don't actually it is just a joke but they really are THAT good!). Seriously, give this place a try. SO FREAKING GOOD! My daughter tried one and then my boyfriend and I did and then next thing you know it my daughter ate half of them. Like seriously, they're like crack. So good! We don't eat out a lot, but this will definitely be a place...
Read moreGreat food. Horrible wait, but it’s fresh so you really can’t complain. However, I was extremely saddened to learn that the owner is racist. Now I know how everyone feels about someone throwing out the race card, but if it’s still happening what are we to do? Perhaps a month ago, I saw that they were hiring and I put my daughter’s information down, and we didn’t hear back. I didn’t think anything of it due to it being such a poplar place I figured kids would love to work there. I met the owner there night before and we had such a great exchange I wanted to speak to her about my daughter if she was still hiring. I put my daughter’s info down again, and I let the employee (who is so sweet) know that I put her info in the book, and she asked me her age and I let her know and she wrote a (B) by her info. Call me naive, but it didn’t dawn on me that it was for black until my sister said so. So I asked. The employee informed me that it indeed was for race, because that’s how the owner knows who’s a good worker. I politely asked her to throw away my daughter’s info and informed her that bad employees come in every race and left. It’s 2024. Are we still judging ppl on...
Read moreThis was our first time coming here, and unfortunately, the customer service was really disappointing. The staff wasn’t welcoming, and the person at the counter didn’t seem to know the menu well. We ordered what apparently could’ve been a combo, but since it was our first time, we didn’t know—and we ended up getting charged extra for the same items without the extra drink that should’ve come with it.
To make things worse, we were surprised to find out that you can’t even dine inside. It’s located next to a bunch of fast food places and restaurants, so we assumed there’d be seating. There’s nothing online saying it’s takeout only. Inside, there’s a sign that says “DO NOT EAT INSIDE”—which would’ve been good to know before we came.
They really need to improve both their customer service and communication. At the very least, update the online info to say TO-GO ONLY so people know what to expect. A “restaurant” you give’s you the opportunity to dine inside after a...
