Adriana was an absolutely horrible waitress. i love flying biscuit but i typically go to the location on navigation which is always amazing in every way. i expected the same environment at this location but was awfully mistaken.

-i was very clear about exactly what i wanted but she put in the wrong side, which is not a big deal but when i informed another waitress, adriana seem upset. without saying anything, she yanked the wrong side off of the table and a few minutes later tossed the correct side on the table.

-within 5 minutes of me receiving the correct side, adriana brought me the check. i had taken maybe 3 bites of my food, i was never checked on or asked if i wanted anything else-which i did!! when i told her i still wanted to order more and wasn’t quite done yet (i had literally just started), it seemed like such an inconvenience for her. i was treated like a nuisance rather than a polite, paying (&tipping) customer.

-anytime i needed something, i had to hunt her down or ask someone else. keep in mind that i visited on a weekday morning with 3 other guests in the restaurant when i arrived, 2 of which were being served by another waitress.

-a group of the staff were gathered next to my table at the bar area, loudly gossiping about other co workers and using vulgar/inappropriate/offensive language. i was baffled that they chose to have this conversation right next to a customer.

the food is always good so that’s not an issue but if customer service is as important to you as it is to me, i don’t recommend you come to this location.

all of these problems are easily fixable with some training and i wanted to give feedback but could not find a manager available and when one arrived (he was late because he’d gotten locked out of his car at a grocery store. i know this because of the staff very loudly discussing it next to me, not because i was trying to hear it) he joined the group at the bar area to chat so i assumed it was okay to him and would be a waste of time to have...

Where to start? We've been to the Buckhead location in Atlanta and LOVED it, so we’ve been very excited to get a FB near us in Houston. We ordered a High Flyer (comes with pancake & no biscuit) with eggs over easy & bacon and a Flying Biscuit Breakfast (with biscuit on a separate plate due to allergy) with eggs scrambled & chicken sausage. Both orders had grits. After 45 - 60 minutes, we were served basically 2 of the FB Breakfasts (different meats and both with scrambled eggs and biscuits. The plate that should have had eggs over easy had cheese on top of the scramble for an extra charge! No pancake. Waited another 15 minutes for the pancake. The food was fair to okay but nothing special and not worth the price paid. Everything was dry: scrambled eggs were dry & unappetizing (the eggs w/cheese were much better, but not what was ordered), sausage was dry & tough, and the grits were not dreamy or anything close to creamy! I refused to pay the cheese upcharge for something we did not order. If we’d had this food in Atlanta, we would not have cared if we ever saw another Flying Biscuit in our lives. I know y’all are a new location with new employees, but this experience was not ready for prime time. We might be back, but if those grits are not creamy & dreamy (and cheesy and hot), it will only be once. Very disappointing. 2 stars...

I am so happy there is a Flying Biscuit near me now! I have always wanted to visit their Memorial location but never got around to it. They have grand opening specials all week for only $1, A deal that is way too good to miss. My brother and I came early Wednesday for the Hangover Hash. Food arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were so yummy and fluffy and tasted strongly of sage and other herbs. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well and I love that they cut it up for you, so that you can see that it is fully cooked. The chorizo added a nice salty, smoky element and the queso was just what the dish needed to bring it all together. I could eat this everyday! It also comes with a homemade biscuit accompanied by fresh jam and butter. So good. I ordered a side of the Creamy Dreamy Grits and they were exactly what they claim. Very light and creamy with a cheesy flavor. There was no alcohol being served as of yet, so we could not order our mimosa flight but it is no big deal because we absolutely will be back. Maybe even tomorrow! If you are thinking about visiting, Don't think. Just do it! The food is unbelievable and the staff is super friendly, efficient and personable. See you all again...

Really nice place. Food is good. I gave it 4 stars bcuz potatoes were a little salty for me, but the seasoning was delicious. Gravy is perfect. I recommend it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flying Biscuit Cafe – 1960 & Eldridge I visited the Flying Biscuit on 1960 near Eldridge on a Tuesday morning around 10am. The place wasn’t crowded at all—lots of parking available and plenty of open tables inside. It made for a calm, easy start to the day. I went with their special, The Flying Biscuit Breakfast, which is normally priced at $14, but they’re running a $7 promo through the end of July. It includes pancakes, eggs, your choice of bacon or turkey sausage, and either potatoes or grits. I chose bacon and potatoes. For $7, it was a pretty good deal—filling, warm, and not overly greasy. The service was average. Staff was polite but didn’t really check in much after bringing out the food. Nothing bad, just not super attentive. The food came out in a reasonable time, and the dining area was clean and casual. Overall, I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. Decent spot for a low-key breakfast, especially with the current promo. I’d consider going back, but it wouldn’t be my go-to. Ask about their breakfast specials. “Southern charm, served all day.”
