This location is a disgrace to Wendy's. We have been to this location many times before but when we went tonight, the service was so bad, it would be easier to state what they didn't mess up - the nuggets.
My husband asked for a large chili. They served it to him in two containers (1 full and the other only partly) for some reason. Maybe they were out of large bowls? Idk and they did not explain. The bowl that was full was lukewarm at best and when he asked them to either warm it or replace it, they nuked it too much and it was scalding hot. He also ordered a frosty and they forgot it. When we went up to get it, it was served overflowing and the frosty dripping over the sides of the cup.
My kids had large drinks and the cups had peel off prize strips that expired 4/28/19. One of the peel off prize stickers was for a free small frosty with any purchase and although it was expired, i figured they would not still be handing out those cups if they would not honor the prizes.
I had a Jr cheeseburger deluxe. It is a small thin meat patty and yet it was pink! It took them 2 tries to correctly replace my sandwich. They gave me a free order of fries but all the fries were rather limp, so I didn't want more.
It has been my habit since they came back with the chili cheese nachos to get a small meal and then go back for the nachos to finish my meal. When I went up to order my nachos, the cashier was confused and went to ask someone. The consensus was that it is not on the menu and they therefore cannot sell it. Mind you, when they had a big sign in the window advertising this item for $2.49 and promoting a special of adding a flavored lemonade for only a dollar, it was not on the menu. It was NEVER on the menu. Every time I went to this Wendy's location I would have to explain what it was for anyone to understand what I wanted, so after all the errors they had already made, I figured I needed to ask someone else and I asked for the manager. They have chili, they have chhese sauce, they have nachos, so why couldn't they make it? Heck, there are chili cheese fries on the menu. Can I just order that and substitute the fries for nachos?
I don't think she understood what I was saying. When I showed her the sticker, she asked me if I wanted vanilla or chocolate and came back with the frosty like that was it. I tried again to tell her my main point and the cashier rudely interrupted that if it's not on the menu, they can't make it and the manager walked away. It was NEVER on the menu even when they were advertising it! They have all the ingredients for it! They have a similar item on the menu that would just need a simple substitution! Never going to this Wendy's again although it is the closest one. Spare yourself the...
Read moreTo be honest and fair, I really haven't experienced any issues at this location up until now. This is one of the first food chains that ensured their employees wore gloves and mask when they opened, which is why I continued to support them. Today however, there was a slight issue with my order such as a frosty-ccino vs a regular frosty. They gave me the wrong frosty, before I knew it, I had already took a drink. I politely told the female manager and she TOOK my DRINK BACK eventhough I TOUCHED and DRANK from it. I find that disgusting and unsanitary knowing there is a pandemic going on. Then instead of righting her wrongs, she gives me the correct drink with no intentions on an even exchange so I wouldn't be overcharged. I didn't ask for my money back just an additional drink since I made quite a few orders. A simple solution? Not. She had an attitude throughout the whole ordeal. She did give me the remaining change, which I believe is unsanitary too. She could have just gave the additional drink and called it the day. Both parties could have had a winning solution "think win-win." Anyway, whether she gave me my change back, let me keep the drink I drank from, or give me an additional drink as an even exchange to my order is beside the problem. She should not have taken my drink from me. It was not a big deal. I feel sorry for the costumers behind me. I hope she changed her gloves. I will not go to this location again. And of course, there is no receipt attached to the bag... This is my experience, these people need their jobs so please do not let this review deter you from supporting them. I just want to bring awareness. Taking an incorrect order back should not be allowed during these times. I hope that corporate or the owner sees this review and talk to their employees about sanitary practices during...
Read moreThis franchise gets one star because at least the food is warm when I get it. I have gone here before and have gotten ridiculed for asking nicely for them to fix my order when it was wrong. They fixed it but not before snickering in Spanish (which I speak) and insulting me and my kids, and this not only included the hosts but also the manager, Ana. I have gone through the drive thru before, and unknowingly submitted my ticket for a free sandwich which required the purchase of a premium sandwich. I purchased a normal meal that was not from the value menu thinking it would validate my coupon. When I pulled up to pay and receive my items, the same manager asked for my coupon then in Spanish, she said, "Why don't people read what is on the back?" as if it was an inconvenience to explain to me that the coupon was not valid for my order. I asked her then what she considered a premium meal and she looked at me and curtly said "5". Then I told her that she could just charge the sandwich I got to my card since I didn't want to be difficult. She didn't answer me and gave me my drinks and said "have a nice day". To Ana: Thanks for the free sandwich, but I would have preferred that you would have at least communicated with me like a professional. You are in a managerial position and a certain amount of decorum is expected from you, even if it's just a fast food chain. TL;DR: The people here are garbage because of their attitudes. They're hiring all positions including managers, to anyone who is interested. Maybe they'll hire people with...
