Taproom with a variety of different kombucha on tap or in can, very worth stopping in to get some to go or stay a while and order some amazing food. We decided to stay and had a great conversation with Bill, who is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the kombucha and - honestly - a huge source of knowledge on the plant based scene in Austin as a whole.
Wish I would have gotten a picture of the outside of the taproom but they’re located in the small strip off of 290 (just past 10000 Pots). You’ll see the Wunder Pilz tap sign on the outside by the door. Inside has a large picnic table and seating at the bar. Offer a large variety of sizes of kombucha to go or to drink there.
Food menu included things like “Texas tempeh brisket sandwich plate” that had great flavors, sauces, potatoes/kimchi. Lots more food is available to go as well, so we made sure to grab some house made burgers (BEP+tempeh+more) and the smoked Texas tempeh, which makes a killer “brisket” breakfast taco.
