The Dream Tacos — Restaurant in The Colony

Found this place on instagram and was so excited to try it however things quickly changed . The server I had did an amazing job however the owner doesn’t understand customer service . My whole table ordered the carne asada tacos which we all sent back due to the flavor having a teriyaki taste to it . I also ordered the beef barria tacos and it came with a consome but it had a coconut curry flavor instead of the traditional flavor to it . Thank God I wasn’t allergic to coconut but it’s definitely not my favorite. The beef barria taco is not listed on the menu but the server stated she could make It . I sent it back and let my server know and she kindly told me that the owner stated he wouldn’t take the taco off my bill but offer me another one . However after sending back 2 tacos that didn’t taste very well I didn’t want anything else on the menu . At the end of the night me and everybody at my table ended up paying for tacos that we didn’t want . I feel like the owner lacked customer service skills and had an opportunity to correct the...

Our favorite taco place ever! The menu is so creative and everything we have tried has been outstanding. We love it so much, we hosted a post-wedding brunch for 90 people last month! Chef Chetra and the manager, Brad, were amazing to work with.

We came up with a specific menu to include 6 different tacos + Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. We were allowed exclusive use of the larger Castle Hills location for our 2 hour event. The service was wonderful and the tacos were incredible. People are still talking about them and the whole experience! This was a fabulous way to top off our wedding weekend and to share it with our family...

Dream Tacos made for a great date night. The decor is beautiful and the vibe is very inviting. Our server, Kristin, was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu (and super friendly!). The bartender made the most fabulous skinny margarita. My husband said that he ate the best brisket quesadilla he’s ever had. I had a seared salmon taco which was out of this world and an amazing chicken tandoori taco & could only finish about half (husband ate the other half so it didn’t go to waste). One taco from here on out at this place - they are loaded and the quality is excellent. Definitely looking forward to our next visit to try...
