Tried out a brand new Tex-Mex place tonight at The Realm in Lewisville right across Sam Rayburn Tollway from The Colony. We really liked this place it was our first visit and we where impressed! Yulissa was the very charming hostess at the front that showed us to some awesome seats on there bar front outside patio. Loved the outside seating on this beautiful night! The restaurant has a wonderful view of the lighted fountain pond and really the panorama of the entire plaza. Next we encountered Marco our dapper waiter/ bartender who very attentively and professionally saw to our first drink order for which we tried there Top shelf Margaritas 🍹 of course. Very delicious and refreshing. We also sampled their chips and salsa which they generously serve for free. We ordered a appetizer of the Guacamole and it was delicious, I very highly recommend this, after which we sampled the Chveche and it to hit the spot perfectly for a Friday night! Next to go with my entrée i ordered the housemade Ranch water also tasted great and came in a awesome ceramic ornamental mug with Tajina dusted around the lip. For my entrée I had the Shrimp Enchilada platter and my wife had the Eden platter. Everything was perfectly cooked, delicious and flavorful. Next Alex the General Manager introduced himself at our table and inquired if everything was to our satisfaction? We assured him everything was excellent and we couldn't be in better hands with Marco taking great care to make sure our first evening went perfectly. The staff here are all friendly and very inviting and definitely care that there service is top notch. We loved everything and will be back again soon and hopefully we will have enough room next time to sample The Flan. Thanks for a great experience.

Dined here for a late lunch out on the patio. Absolutely loved the patio setup and restaurant's interior. My server Juan was fantastic. The chips came out warm (yay!) and the salsa was really feakin' great! As a place to grab drinks and munch on chips and salsa with your friends (or a date), I think this is a really great spot. Especially if you live close by. I however, don't drink alcohol so was there for the food. Tex-Mex is my favorite food group. I wanted soft tacos and unfortunately there were only hard-shelled tacos on the lunch specials menu (an no option for brisket, which was what I was craving). I will say the lunch specials were great prices. To get what I really wanted (brisket tacos with corn tortillas), I had to order from the dinner menu (think: higher price). It came with 3 good-sized tacos, a scoop of rice and side salad. The tortillas were not flimsy soft nor plain corn. The tacos looked tasty but I found them to be surprisingly bland (including the dipping sauce). Rice/salad was just OK. In the end, I wish I'd have just ordered something else from the lunch menu, so I hadn't spent as much.

My wife and I made a spontaneous decision to stop by San Miguel on a random Monday night specifically for margaritas, and the experience was truly five-star, thanks entirely to the bartender, Juan. From the moment we sat down, Juan provided impeccable service. He was incredibly attentive and professional, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that immediately elevated our evening. Beyond his outstanding hospitality, Juan demonstrated an expert knowledge of tequilas. He was genuinely knowledgeable and guided us through the options, turning a simple margarita order into a delightful educational tasting experience. His recommendations were spot-on, resulting in some of the best margaritas we've ever had. San Miguel is lucky to have such a dedicated and talented individual on their team. This level of service is exactly what keeps customers coming back. We will absolutely be returning soon!

We went to San Miguel Tex Mex looking for the exquisite food in all the previous reviews. If you have read any of my previous reviews you know I love Tex Mex- I mean I love Tex Mex. Take away all other food groups - leave me Tex Mex- I would be very content.

I went in hungry- starving for some good Tex Mex. Juan started us out with chips and salsa. The chips tasted authentic Tex Mex- right thickness - right crispness - not stale. Very good start.

My wife ordered a Margarita we ordered a cup of queso. The queso- I would rate about 4 out of 5. Nice creamy, hot… yummy. We then ordered fajitas, enchiladas (beef and cheese), and tacos. Cliff notes version; fajitas did not taste like skirt steak / flank steak Enchiladas - beef - I ate about 1/4 of mine and the cheese- hard to have more than 1/4 of that one either. MY daughter loves “whatever enchiladas you order papa, those are my favorites”. And she usually eats 1/2 of hers. One bite of each - and she was done. Tacos- shell and fixings were good but something in the beef … just was not the flavor we expected.

Wife then ordered Mushrooms.. she did not care for them either.

My daughter ordered flan- said it was great.

So- food- very disappointed. Service - Juan was ok. Took too long between queso and actually taking our meal order. Atmosphere - nice place- not the kind of music one wants to hear at the volume it was being played.

Perhaps it was a bad night but on this particular night-...
