Completely discovered this place by chance, but so glad to have. The food was delicious and I'll definitely be coming back. They make their soy sauce and kimchi in house which is pretty cool. I had the spicy chicken bowl and it was great, had a nice spice to it, good amount of meat too. My wife had the beef bulgogi bibimbop and it was excellent too, well sized banchan portions.
The inside had a nice homey feel, though there was some outdoor seating as well. They also have a donut shop inside which was neat. I think it was only the owner working when we stopped by and she was very nice.
There was also a drive thru on the side.
Edit July 2022:. I ordered online and specified a 7:30 pickup time for the food. I got there right at 7:30, however on my drive there (around 7:20) a woman from the restaurant called and sarcastically indicated that "my food has been ready for a minute". Strange because the reason I put a 7:30 pickup time is because I knew I could be there then, which I also stated over the phone. I had a feeling they may have prepared the food way early, and unfortunately that seems to be the case. Most of my food was lukewarm, and the fried chicken was soggy. The woman who gave me my order (not sure if it was the same person on the phone or not) didn't even bother to apologize for not reading the order. Very disappointing. I did my part, got there when I indicated for the pickup time, it would be nice if they bothered to read. A simple, "sorry we didn't see the pickup time" would have gone a long way.
I wouldn't recommend placing orders ahead at this place...
Read moreThat's actually 3.75 stars. The food is good, not omg good but good nonetheless. I tried the short ribs and bugolgi bowls, plus the potstickers. I know that's alot and well I hadn't eaten all day and I wanted more than one item to base my opinion. Bulgogi had lots of flavor, a lil salty yet slightly sweet however I found the meat itself to be a bit on dry side. The ribs needed a lil salt, so I used a touch of the soy sauce I had for the potstickers and that made it better. The potstickers were nice and crispy on outside and tender on the inside. Now, this is called a rice bar, the pics of the bowls include rice. I looked forward to the rice especially with the bulgolgi but there was no rice just noodles w a good flavor in its own however the dish would have fared better w the rice and the rating would be more than i gave it. Salty on salty is too much. The lady taking orders is also the only person I saw cooking and serving, she's a kitchen hero and she did it all w a smile. **also one of my favorite things was the simple dressing used on the lil salad. Reminded me of when I used to go to kings spa and order a bowl of slaw, it had the same simple dressing. Ok it's a full 4 stars. Happy eating and now Go get...
Read moreI would rate the ambiance 3 stars because should you decide to eat there you'll be using plastic utensils and eating out of carry-out containers. The service though is top notch. They are kind, courteous, and they aim to please. But I go out to eat to, well, eat and the food is far and above some of the best freshly prepared Korean food within a 25 mile radius. The beef bulgogi is tender and very flavorful. The spicy pork is a spicy version of bulgogi that is made with pork; very good. The beef ribs are thinly sliced, tender, juicy, and packs a wonderfully complex umami beef flavor. The teriyaki chicken are bite sized pieces that are very tender, juicy, and seared to perfection. White, brown, and fried rice as well as glass and lo mein noodles are nicely done. And they offer an eclectic offering of fruits, vegetables, salad items, sauces,...
