I got three items for my first time coming here (the Large regular pig in a blanket, the milk donut, and the banana foster donut) and they were all... absolutely incredible.
The pig in a blanket was as long as my hand from the tip of my middle finger to my wrist, and the bread was so light and fluffy. It was the ideal specimen of a pig in a blanket... just HUGE! Super delicious and filling, I had to wait to have room for my sweet treats!
The milk donut was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Stuffed to the brim with sweet, light whipped-style cream and covered in a heavy layer of powdered sugar. Not to mention the donut itself was ever-so-slightly crispy to compliment the softness of the cream... this was well worth the price tag, trust me.
Finally, the banana foster donut. Where do I begin? To start with, I didn't realize this was a filled donut as well - so I was pleasantly surprised and delighted when I bit into it to find a delicious center that I will dream about for a while! The cream on top was exceptional as well - it reminded me of buttercream, honestly.
Overall, I spent roughly 12 dollars before tip and got three very high quality pastries. It is absolutely possible to spend less than me, but I decided to Splurge on a new spot, and it did not disappoint! Cannot recommend this place enough, I...
Read moreFamily owned shop with donut artistry. I thought all donuts were the same: glazed, cake, jelly filled, éclair, etc. They have all the classics and they are all done well. HOWEVER... if you would like to change your life, visit this place on a weekend morning and try one of their special donuts. You never know what there will be. Everything has been amazing. We have been coming here for about 2 years now. Treats that stand out in my mind: creme brulee (with the crunchy sugar caramel topping), milk tea (tasted just like it), passion fruit, matcha cream filled, strawberry cream, banana cream, quiche, toasty (large breakfast sandwich made with house made milk bread and a crazy good cilantro sauce on the side). Every weekend I try one. I never am able to hold myself back long enough to take a photo. I just dive in. They also have awesome coffee drinks with locally roasted coffee. It's 20-25 min away and we drive there most weekends of the month. Even though we have a donut place 5 min from our house, I won't eat donuts anywhere else. We even got their donuts for our kids birthday party (instead of cake).
If you want to try their fancy donuts, I recommend going after 9am. Sometimes, if you go too early, the fancy donuts...
Read moreI give 3.5 stars. Love the twist of this establishment! Donuts and coffee sold until 1 and Korean food sold from 3-9
Loved the ambiance, music is playing in the background and customer service.
Drinks;
My daughter loved the taste of the Strawberry Matcha Latte.
I did not enjoy the Lavender Latte; however one of the owners offered to remake it with a different syrup. I requested latte without flavor and the initial sip tasted better than with the syrup. About five to ten minutes after I left I realized that I tasted less of the espresso and more of the oat milk that is not as creamy as Planet Oat Milk Creamer.
Food:
Kids perspectives: the glazed donut is fresh and tastes like it should. Small donuts are too sweet. Chocolate icing on the donuts did not like the taste.
My perspective: Toaster is fresh and a portion big enough to share. I love the hash brown in it Lemon blueberry donut tad too sweet. Glazed donut a tad dry
They sell pop sockets and handmade magnets (not pictured). I would come back for the Tosster and plan to come back to try the...
