I really wanted to like this place since they just opened. The owner is very nice. However, I am very picky since I'm first generation asian from San Francisco and I have not found a Korean place that even remotely measures up to what I'm use to. Again, I've been eating asian food since I was born! I had the Bulgogi kimbap rolls and kimchee. Pro: kimbap rolls was tasty. The rice in the roll is made well. The kimchee is also good. Con: kimbap rolls fell apart. They should not. Needs to be rolled tighter. Remove the cabbage in the roll. Put egg instead. I make mine with egg, crab, and spinich. I think she had the spinich in there. Beef is good in lieu of putting crab. The cost is very high. At $10.99, I rather go to HMart and get double rolls for $8.00 or make it myself. Went with a couple of buddies over the weekend and it was fantastic! Loved the Bulgogi Kimbap and the Cookies & Cream Macaroon was honestly to die for; it really captured the flavor of an oreo in a surprising and surreal way. The Thai tea was good as well, although it had a slightly different flavor tacked on to it compared to other Thai teas I've had from restaurants, tea shops, and even those that I brew at home. The note wasn't bad whatsoever, just different so maybe expect that going into it if you're ordering it. Best Korean food anywhere in The Woodlands by FAR! The owner is literally born in Korea so you already know the food is authentic. She came out to check on us and was incredibly kind which just made the experience that much better. Price is reasonable and the food is amazing.
