Sushi Q Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Thomaston

So far we have visited twice and we WILL be back next time we are in the area looking for a good meal.

Waitstaff is very cordial and attentive. This is always a major part of any dining experience and Sushi-Q does very well here.

Food is always the right temperature and prepared quickly. Taste is extremely good and presentation is above par for their price point in my opinion.

Speaking of price, I have not been surprised or disappointed by my bill. The pricing for my favorite meals here have been excellent.

The dining area and bathrooms are very clean. This is a small restaurant but has many windows so you don’t get that shut in feeling. Parking is limited, but you can park in the street in front. The next door lot to the south is explicitly marked as a tow zone for all but their own customers, so I would recommend NOT parking there.

Overall a great experience with excellent sushi and Japanese favorites, great pricing and a comfortable...

Great food! My husband said they have the best salad he's ever had at a Japanese restaurant. Reasonably priced. My only complaint is that during busy times the service is extremely slow. One time (granted it was still within their first month of opening) I stood in line for 45 minutes waiting to get my take out! I only live down the street, so if they were honest about their pick up time I would have left and came back. I arrived 20 minutes like they said, and twice I asked when my food would be out and they kept saying 5 minutes even though I was already waiting much longer than that and continued to...

Went here for the first time last week. Sushi was very delicious, would for sure recommend the “Dinosaur Egg.” The tempura cheesecake for dessert was out of this world! The server we had was also very nice, I wish I could say the same for the young punks hitting the back of my seat the whole time I was eating. One thing you should know is that there isn’t much seating here, so a lot of the booths are shared. But really, I won’t blame the actual restaurant for the horrible people...
