China Garden — Restaurant in Thomasville

Wow, this place. The Health Department needs to storm this place and shut it down IMMEDIATELY. I'm watching my roommate right now, doubled over in pain, alternating between freezing and burning up, he's projectile vomited I don't know how many times, everything below his waist seems to be swollen, and he has a really high fever (reading on that thing reads about 3° higher, don't freak out)

This all kicked in about 30-45 minutes after he ate food from there which consisted of: Pepper Beef with Onions, Chicken Egg Foo Young, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Plain Fried Rice.

First off, he couldn't eat much at all of the Sweet and Sour Chicken or the Pepper Beef because most of it was so hard it was like chewing rocks. That probably saved me from having to call an ambulance to get him to the hospital. If he doesn't improve and his temperature doesn't start going down in a better way, I still might have to.

I don't know if this place has cooks that don't wash their hands after going #2, servers that blow their noses on the food because they get upset that they have to work there, or busboys that are teabagging the silverware, but this place is GOING TO KILL SOMEONE.

I'm really hoping that his body can fight this off and he's okay in the morning. He got tickets and reserved and prepaid two nights for a hotel in Raleigh for some big event this weekend. Trust me, he will get this money back if he misses these events.

To the following people that have written reviews, Phoenix Rodarte, Correy Prince, Chris and Deaiah Bolz, Hannah C, Becca Jing, Jo Loflin, Offroad Sportz, Anita Jackson, Aiden King, and Dejavu, the food poisoning you (and your friends/loved ones) contracted is called STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS. Yes, the same bacteria that is MRSA if common antibiotics don't kill it.

What does this mean? It means that since this place has been POISONING people for YEARS. There is a good probability that the STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS there is of the MRSA variety. I'm going to state this again, THEY ARE GOING TO OFF SOMEONE WITH THEIR FENCE CHICKEN.

I'll be calling every single governmental health and restaurant related department I can find on Monday to do everything I can to prevent this...

The waiter threw our straws on the table as if they were darts and never asked if we needed anything. Her attitude was despicable and we should have left then, staying was a big mistake. Then she would just walk by rolling her eyes. I ordered garlic beef and it was so nasty we did not eat it. The meat was so squishy and nasty and it was some awful red thick gooey sauce.The noodles were rubbery! Then the manager brought it on a cheap plastic plate that he doubled and the noodles and sauce was running over the plate. I thought they gave me the wrong order because it tasted nothing like garlic beef lo mein. I complained to the waitress and Manager and he had a nasty attitude and just yelled, “That is garlic beef”with a nasty attitude and I told him it was horrible and he just walked away. They have nasty attitudes and I will never ever stop there again when passing through. My Husband & I absolutely love this place as we have been dining there for years. Great food !!! Priced fair. Friendly wait staff, Booths & table seating available. To go menu available with buffet plate to go available. Very clean restrooms😉

I am updating my opinion. I give them 2 stars. I ask politely in Chinese Language specifically to be seated away from others as my Husband is wearing a Medical Device. They gave us a booth two away from any others. I went to the Ladies room & evidently they leave the restroom doors propped open so I accidently seen a Man's privates at the Urinal & was just thankful my Granddaughter wasn't with me. When returning to our seat they had moved my personal belongings to another booth right against two people coughing and gagging that talked loudly the whole time & when they returned to their booth they fell into their seats causing my Husband severe back pain.
