La Carreta Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Thomasville

I have been going here for a few years....lately I have visited with my coworkers for after hours and I have had 2 complaints. first of all a month ago I complained about the margarita's not up to par and tonight I complained to the manager about my waiter taking way too long to bring me a beer. the waiter informed me that he had other customers(mind you the place was more than half empty). he was very rude and so was his manager. the manager told me that I complain EVERY time I am there. he said I complained about the drinks...yes( 1 time) and the food( NEVER) and now the rude waiter. I told him that clearly he was on his waiter side and there was no use talking to him. I have spent more than $15 and less than $60 in this establishment and I wanted to talk to him and he rudely told me about MY complaints. if I had a problem with the food I would never return and as far as the drinks well I could order something else..not a problem. I came to the site to find someone other than him to talk to and there is no one but his post. I want to express that I have no problem with the food however a few of the staff(not all) are very rude and unconcerning when you complain to them. how do u run a business like that? I have eaten at this place many times, the last few times the service has been getting progressively worse. Tonight it was the worst ever. Many empty tables, as it was raining, so not crowded at all. After being seated quickly it took 10 minutes for a server to show up to get the drink order. We also ordered cheese dip, but when the waiter dropped off the drinks he kept moving without leaving the dip. I was unable to get him to look back again. 10 minutes later when he roamed by I had to get his attention to ask about the dip, he did bring it the second time, which was just about the same time the meal arrived, by a kitchen server. Our server never came back to check in, or refill our drinks. He showed up 25 minutes later with the check. I noticed that the table across from us had a different server, but that server also never came back to check for refills the entire time we sat there. The food itself was ok, but the service is bad enough we will not be returning...

the atmosphere is good, the facilities are clean but...

We ask for "mexican" pulled-pork BBQ, (is just the regular american one, sweet, nothing mexican, just because it served with rice and beans and that combination taste strange) and carnitas Tacos (so weird they serve tacos with a plate of beans and rice, from there, I knew that everything was going to go wrong) the order is just 3 tacos with double tortilla, the meat had no flavor, it just tasted like fat, it didn't even have salt.

I have never given a review so disappointed, it is the first time, the service is terrible, we waited a lot to be seated, then we waited more for them to attend us, the food also took a long time and it wasn't even tasty.

Our waitress disappeared since she took our order. This was our first and last visit, I recommend you that if you are going to come and they do not attend you in 10 minutes, better you leave, it means that everything is going...
