I really wanted to like this place due to the ease of having a drive through but you just can't excuse awful customer service. It was our first time ever going so we did not know there was a second window. After waiting for several minutes behind someone, we watched another car drive around the building and get served immediately at a second window. When we finally got to the window (after literally 8 minutes), I mentioned that since they are new to the area and plenty people would be new to their establishment, they might want to wave others around to let them know instead of having five staff for the one customer at the window. The response from two employees was that they had just came on duty and didn't know. They also said they normally do this. This sounds great but it was said with such annoyance that I could feel their desire to roll their eyes. It sucked. My family was like, hopefully the drinks are better than their attitudes. My drink was wrong and that just seemed to really get to the girl who then had someone else finish with out order. 😳 This woman was very nice and apologetic for the messed up order. She clearly cared about repeat business. The young girl returned to talking window orders as soon as we pulled off. So here's the thing. Small town where repeat business is your key to success and in a time where online reviews are instant. Grassroots Coffee Company, Dunkin' Donuts, etc. are solid here. If your customer service sucks, there's no reason to return. I get hiring young but that's no excuse to treat a customer like they don't matter and take their money. Oh- especially since I explained it was my first time there and they JUST opened. Way to be condescending potential future customer. The coffee was good but not light years ahead of others in town. They gave me a bowl of egg and cheese. Idk why they would think, I would want a bowl full of powdered eggs and cheese. I called back up there, to let them know and see if they could just take my name down so I can just get what I ordered at a later time. They told me I have to drive back up there, with their mistake to get the issue fixed. Keep in mind, I’m at work already and couldn’t go anywhere.
