Barberitos — Restaurant in Thomasville

Super disappointed. Barberitos was always our family’s favorite when we lived in Thomasville and we still get it every time we visit. It has changed so much. Last visit, the staff was very unfriendly but we ignored it and enjoyed our food. This time it was even worse. We came in to order for our family of 5 and the staff were awful. They made us feel like we were such an inconvenience to them. While my husband was telling them what all he wanted on his burrito bowl, the gentleman interrupted him mid sentence and told him to go pay so they can move other customers through. They also said they didn’t have any shells for a bowl so my husband asked to just put chips down first and the response was very rudely, “chips already come with your meal”. Another gentleman piped in and said, “I’ll just see if she’ll make you one” as if it was a big inconvenience and proceeded to drop a tortilla in grease for about 30 seconds. I’m so incredibly disappointed because this was always our favorite restaurant and excellent customer service, not anymore. Out of the 3 staff we encountered, not one was friendly. We are always excited to head back to Georgia for the hospitality we encounter that we don’t get in south Florida but clearly, the times...

So sorry to give a bad review. They prepare the food in front of you . Well it was so nasty and dirt. A.old food was just pushed off of the cutting board it was just laying there all dried up. Wish I could have taken a picture. All the food had drips on the containers. It's hard to explain it was like a salad bar with food everywhere. The meat was gross. We should have walked out. They did have a long line of people but I'm guessing they don't care how nasty it looked. If the health inspector should up they would have been closed. Infact they had no sigh up with a rating. We just made a bad choice for dinner we were just driving through. So we will never be back. If the owner reads this he needs to clean his place up especially where they prepare the food. I went to grab some food with my boyfriend. Upon arriving there was a big group in the middle of ordering but we still ended up waiting in line for about 10 minutes and there was only one other couple in between us. When I made my order which was a burrito bowl with steak, I tried to point to what I’m assuming was the pico to ask if it was pico, and before I could even finish my sentence he grabs some pico with his hand and drizzled it into my bowl. After that I asked for sliced avocado to which he squeezed it and didn’t even get all of the avocado out. I wouldn’t have thought twice about it if I didn’t see the lady in front of me also ask for avocado and got hers actually sliced.
