After hearing that their catering was good, a friend and I went there for a quick dinner about 6:30 in the evening. I think it's more of a breakfast place than a dinner place. I got a very disappointed Philly steak cheese sandwich. Cheese was not melted slices, but rather squeezed from a bottle. It was yucky. The hoagie bun was small and the meat and onions and peppers left a lot to be desired. Perhaps it was leftovers of the day? My friend got a Cuban quesadilla with barely anything in the center. Her onion rings tasted like something commercial and heated, certainly not fried fresh. From reading the reviews, I would suggest sticking with breakfast and stay away from the dinner hour. Sorry to have to report this but it was our experience. The parking lot was empty, also, which should have been an indication. There were only two other people in the restaurant and when we left we were the only ones there. My friend thought her "meal" was overpriced. I doubt very seriously that we will return!

Read moreOverpriced, overcooked, underseasoned, underwhelmed. In an attempt to support local businesses I went here today after I swore I wouldn't return after a visit a year ago. I paid $10 for the ultimate chheeseburger and small fries, no drink. The ultimate is an upgrade to grass fed beef. I asked that it be cooked MW. Was told they couldn't. So I asked it just be cooked as short as possible. Received offended looks from all 3 women within earshot. I'm happy to wait for a freshcooked burger. But why throw in a bag of crinklecut fries that were made in fishy oil? Some were hard as a rock, some half raw but all cold and not made anytime close to when I ordered them. The tiny burger patty was cooked beyond well done. It was dry, tough and clearly not seasoned with salt and pepper before cooking. There were more thick strong tasting onion slices on this $7 burger than meat. In addition I question the veracity of it being grass fed. I will not go back to this place again. Very...
Read moreRecently visited Henderson’s for the first time in many years. Was looking for a good/cheap burger + fries. Ordered a 1/4 lb. burger with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve had anywhere! Highly recommend! The nice lady at the front addressed questions re: menu, then the order & food was turned around in under 10 minutes, and for less than $14 for 2 people! This has got to be the cheapest yet Best food deal in town, seriously! The quarter pound burger was delicious and the perfect size for one person. Also nice that they serve all day! Everyone was friendly with great price and quick food turnaround! Inside was also nice & clean. Will return soon to get that burger and fries again, and to sit outside when the weather is warmer. Thanks to the staff for friendly, quick and definitely yummy food and service! Will be...
