I have literally never written a Google review in my entire life. I was so compelled to write one because of how terrible this food was. It has been so long since I’ve been so disappointed by any food that I’ve been served anywhere. Not only are these tacos approximately 3 to 4 dollars EACH, they are one of the most bland things I have ever put in my mouth. I ordered a fish taco and a ground beef taco with chips and queso. The uncooked flour tortilla was filled with a tiny piece of fried fish and a huge pile of soaked cabbage. If you want your taco to taste like a chopped up greasy cheeseburger, this is the place for you. If you like tomato juice that is so poorly seasoned and salted and these people have the nerve to call it salsa, this place is going to be your favorite. The only thing I liked about Taco Roos was the free peppermint York patties that came in the bag. I will never go back to this place and I would never recommend it to anybody...
Read moreThey just opened recently and my first visit thus far was a Saturday around 6 p.m. Line moved rather quickly. Menu is easy to read. No combo's; pay per item. I got a grilled chicken taco with sour cream, chips with guacamole & queso dip as well as fresh squeezed lemonade. Food comes in a nice Lil box and a peppermint patty was in the bag. Nice touch, was unexpected. I like that the outside is bright & fun & playing music. Food rating is 99. The taco was very good, wished I would have gotten another one. Guacamole and queso was delicious. There is no spice to them which I like. Staff at the window were pleasant. My meal cost $10.50 for drink/taco/chips/dip. The reason I can't give it a 5 star is the chips were loaded with salt. I noted this in the picture that I've added to the review. Overall wasn't too bad and I'd...
Read moreI was initially excited to visit Taco Roos, a taco establishment owned by Cook Out. It is a straightforward drive-through fast-food taco joint, similar to Taco Bell. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the drink options, particularly the "freshly squeezed" lemonade, which tasted like a mix and was overly filled with ice. The food quality was quite low; for instance, the queso was so watery that I initially mistook it for milk. Additionally, the customer service did not meet expectations. While I’m glad I had the opportunity to try it, I do not...
