Came to get an inspection. Followed directions on the sign saying: "Wait in vehicle for service, 10 minute oil change". Was greeted promptly and requested service. Was told to back in behind the only vehicle in the service center and wait for prompt service. Three more vehicles came in behind me and pulled into the other two bay areas and two started to get serviced. Waited over 30 minutes before a tech came to start inspection. Ask me to get out of my truck, so he could proceed. He pulled a 3 ton floor jack over to lift up my truck. I have a 10000 lb. truck. I told him this was not part of an inspection. He told me, he was a certified state inspection technician, and this was required. I told him that no pry bars were to be used on my suspension and steering components. He proceeded to jack up my truck in the front, realizing there was no place to do it. He moved around behind my front tire and aligned the floor jack on my framework to jack it up. The floor jack ran up all the way and couldn't lift my tire off the ground. He proceeded to get a spacer and try again. I asked him if he was going to chauk my tires. He got a big ROCK and put it behind my other front tire, on the upper side of the grade. Another tech came over and stated why he didn't jack it up in the front, or on the axle. I told him that would destroy my front wheel drive HUB assembly. At that point I told them that I would take it somewhere else to get inspected. Both techs walked away and left me hanging. I had to make sure the jack was out of the way, and had to remove the BOULDER from my other front tire. I called another service station and scheduled service. I left the Mickey Mouse outfit and got my truck inspected across town. Told the techs about my experience and their reply was that Strickland Brothers had been their best customer for more than a year. Do not...

I attempted to contact the number provided to me below following my original review. I called the phone number provided and the voicemail was full so I could not leave a message. However, I did proceed to text the number below as instructed. It has now been 2 weeks and STILL no response.

I would like others to be careful with whom you trust with basic vehicle maintenance. I took my vehicle for a simple oil change. A technicians failure to properly place my oil cap/seal back once they were finished led to the loss of the oil in my car. Once I got home after my oil change and seeb oil spilling in my drive way and sprayed all over the back side of my car, I immediately called the shop back and the "manager" was gracious enough to stay and wait for me to come back in order to fix it. While I am appreciative of the manager staying to help me, refilling the oil did NOT fix this issue as loss of oil in my car has resulted in permanent damage to my motor. Which now is knocking, gets hung between the changing of gears, and jumps when attempting to gain speed from a complete stop. All due to an individuals negligence to complete a basic oil change correctly, I am now looking at the replacement of a motor for a car that prior to this had no mechanical issues. My biggest issue is that I contacted customer relations nearly 2 months ago and provided picture of my phones call log and picture of my oil change sticker from the location that supports the incident and details provided (plus im sure they have the survaillance footage for reference) to report the issue and STILL HAVE NOT...
Read moreThey get something wrong every time I go there. Last time I went up there I asked for a price for putting a new headlight bulb in. I guess they didn't want to because they never returned with the price, even though I asked twice. The bigger issue was that I have a truck that just turned over 200,000 miles. So I did not want any change to the Motorola been using. I was using a conventional that the motor was very used to. They switched me to a synthetic, without even telling me or asking me. I only discovered it reading my own receipt after I left. I didn't specifically ask them to keep me with the same type in grade motor oil. They switched it anyway, when I called they said while they were out. You don't just change somebody's Motor oil based on your own preference without advising the customer. It seems like every trip there something like this happens. I'm going to switch. I would give them a 1. But when I called the manager he was a nice guy. But offered no recompense. / 11-14-22... OK broke my own rule and came back there. It was just too convenient of a location and I was in a hurry. Had a wonderful young lady named Katie. Wow what a clear communicator and great technician. She was very polite and got the job done well. I was really pleased. So I will go up on the score from 2 to 3. But her service really deserved much more. Another experience or 2 like this, And I will begin to trust this business much more. If you have time, ask for Katie. She...
