I took a vintage piece to be smoothed on the inside and polished on the outside. When I got it back, the details on the outside of the ring were gone, covered in new silver. Inside was smooth as was requested, new silver as well. I am disappointed in the ring, as the details (tiny flowers) can no longer be seen.
