Yummi Express — Restaurant in Thomasville

YUCK! Worst I've ever seen! I went in based on overall good reviews, and I was sorely disappointed! I could even eat it, one bite out of each tray, horrible! I took it back and tried to get my money back from the rude little Asian owner/manager. I skeptical starting with the -5 minutes it took for my order to be ready, you can't cook anything that fast., especially not hibachi style Japanese food. Obviously pre-cooked and sitting, how do I know? Cause I looked back in the kitchen through the pass-through window, its laying out in trays uncovered with no heat or refrigeration.

Teriyaki Chicken? No sauce, no grill/no glaze, Hibachi Chicken, same nada. Vegetables were limp, soggy and wholey unappetizing.

They would not refund my money for their disgusting food. The guy got very disgruntled & angry when I called his food garbage, good, it is what is, a duck gets called a duck in my book. Then I opened a box and dumped his trash on his counter and walked out.

Now good to my word, here is my review of this awful food. Go elsewhere! $18.+ down...

So, I just got food from there specifically steak and shrimp with no carrots and extra sauce right. Tell me why I get the food bite into the steak and it's blood everywhere. My husband takes the food back and tell him that there is blood in the steak, literally oozing out. This man, the worker, says "oh that's not my problem. That's not my problem." All I wanted was a refund for undone steak. Reason being is the taste of undone meat makes me extremely sick. He refused to give a refund and then proceeded to say that the meat being undone was not his problem. He took it out the box frozen and cooked it. Clearly not if it still had blood on it. I have been going there for YEARS and have never experienced this before. I paid $18 for undone meat. Some people like that but I do not, so with that being said if you want undone meat that is the place to go. I will not be going back, and honestly speaking although I have been going for years, the food...

Ok, There is one word to describe the food here. YUMMY!!!

The food is great and the service is even better. I never got around to asking for a name but the lady that greets us to take our orders and brings them to the table is AMAZING! She defensively goes beyond to make sure we enjoy our stay. I have tried most order combos except the scallops and can say that the ones ive tried are amazing. Give this restaurant a try. I know i saw some negative reviews here and all I can say is WOW, instead of trying to work something out with management they just dumped the food on the counter. Disgusting pigs. I love this place and even though I don't live in Thomasville I stop here whenever I find myself driving through.
