First the parking is just not big enough for this location. I do hope the employers have said something to the corporate office. The food, is not to the Popeyes standard. If you want real Popeyes Chicken, biscuits, fries, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese; there are two places I strongly recommend, Valdosta on Norman Drive, and ANY Popeyes in Savannah, GA. Thomasville is a tease to the real deal. The customer service needs work as well. It is difficult to understand them over the drive-thru speaker, and in the store, they are moving from hip to hip as if they are bored to be there taking an order. I have seen them touch food without gloves, while handling the cash register, moo, and other unsanitary items. The atmosphere will make you have anxiety. I have no personal points, however, I have heard others of all races and community livings, state that they feel they need to keep their money in their vehicles, carry weapons for safety, and not bring their children. I have heard customers state that they feel like they will be robbed in the restaurant and the staff may be the ones to rob them. The atmosphere is a bit nervous-like however, I don't see it to be THAT dangerous just not 100% safe for...
Read moreFast, Friendly, Good Food. Was hot and fresh (10 piece mixed), cold slaw was cold, crunchy, fresh delicious. Biscuits were also soft inside and a little crunchy on outside just as they should be. Service was good also, front line casher called me ma'am and was polite. she did not make me wait an unreasonable amount of time to take or make my order, maybe 4-5 minutes. She also remembered I asked for honey for my biscuits. As I waited I noticed the other employees doing their jobs and the management was also out with her employees working. They were not loud or rude or playing around . I was impressed. Mostly because we were passing through & I had looked you up on line and the reviews were Terrible, racial and down right a little scary but my husband really wanted Popeyes Chicken so I put you in gps and we risked it This was a Sat. About 6:00 - 6:30 pm All though the crew and management were Afro Americans/black I did not feel any discrimination issues toward me and I am white...
Read moreI stopped in at Popeyes to pick up a 16 piece supper for the family. The girl at the register was as sweet as she could be but on the other hand the mngr is one of the rudest I have ever encountered. When I brought my 16 piece mixed meal home two chicken breasts were missing and I called the mngr and she told me if I wanted two more breasts it would cost me extra. I paid for 16 pieces and came home with 14 . This makes no sense and my husband said she was so rude he never wanted to go back. The mngr gave no apologies even when it took my husband 25 min to get there and pick up my two breasts.then home again. As a matter of fact the manager was rude toy husband then to.This isn't the first time this has happened. I will not be back to this Popeyes. I think this manager is a racist I don't see any white people...
