Baba’s Famous Steak and Lemonade (Lansing) — Restaurant in Thornton Township

The Philly cheese steak was very tasteful the bread was soft like I like it. I Oder the beef as well and didn’t care for it so much it was dry and I like mines wet which I did ask for it to be soaked . I was given two cups of gravy to pour over my beef not the same . The steak taco was just okay I will not order again . the ladies at the front was very nice great customer service I didn’t like the fact the one lady asked for a tip which I had already gave but she didn’t see me put in jar. let your service speak I don’t believe servers should ask for tips overall everything was hot cooked to order and good . It was a small wait but worth it to get hot, fresh food I will return I suggest...

Terrible, Terrible attitudes here on the weekends! The young lady who worked 8/30/25 around 9:30pm. Very sassy at the mouth when my elderly mother asked her if mild/bbq sauce was on the fries already. She quickly responded very nasty & advised she couldn’t make adjustments (which I’ve never heard of) but she could provide a bbq sauce cup & THEN she continued to be flip at the lip when my mother departed. Please do better with who you choose to work for your establishments, especially on weekends. They really don’t want to be there forreal BUT don’t take that out on paying customers dear & PLEASE ensure they respect their elders...

First let me start with saying the food is actually pretty good, I’ve tried multiple items on the menu and haven’t had a bad order yet. HOWEVER, the young lady at the front counter; short young lady has a major attitude problem. I asked did she have a phone number for call in orders and the response was snappy “ no” then upon making an order she is just very unprofessional. If I see her I will not order there. If you don’t want to be at work then stay home baby because it’s 2025 why are we still being unnecessarily rude to people. I know it’s babas but take some customer service skills training.
