I came through the drive-thru after a long day attempting to retrieve a scoopie token of a half scoop of vanilla and a half scoop of lemon ice—fairly simple. I was told to pull to the window. In doing so, there were at least 3-4 employees crowded by the window, looking in my direction, talking and laughing. Being that, it was about 2 minutes before Tyren, the manager, (who look to have come from the back) to even opened the window to greet me and discuss my order. He then tells me my order can’t be filled because there isn’t a button to do so and it’s considered a smoothie—again, a half scoop of vanilla and a half scoop of lemon ice in a kids scoop bowl. After explaining I’ve received this same order from this location on numerous occasions (including just this past weekend) and being a former employee, this is a simple order that should be possible. Tyren continues the conversation by beginning to speak in a rude and choppy tone asking me “who took my order, who was at the window, and when did I last work?” All while the other 3-4 employees are still standing by the window behind him having side remarks and laughing. He continues in his same tone telling me things are different and he doesn’t know who I spoke with but he won’t be filling my order. After not wanting to be in a rude environment over such a simple order, I told Tyren (and his audience) to have a good day. Before being able to pull off, I hear and see Tyren and his employees laughing, speaking loudly with rude comments, then slamming the drive thru window. My biggest concern is, is this the hospitality the Culver’s I know is growing to? Why was an audience needed to (even) discuss such a simple order? Just...
Read moreI have never been treated the way I was treated today at Culver's. I ordered food that was supposed to be a replacement for a previous order that was deplorable. I was sent out coupons that were supposed to cover the food in which I paid $32 for but when I go to give them the coupons the cashier says that I owe $9.52 I ask why she proceeds to get her manager Cortez. He comes to the window and he states that he was only replacing the sandwich not the entire order I tell him that when I spoke to him on the phone I have time of conversation, date of conversation and receipt from transaction he stated to me that he would replace both baskets but when he sent out coupons it was only for the sandwich. This escalated quite quickly when he told me if I didn't want to pay the $9 I could leave i said what? I stated to him this is not what he told me on the phone he said he know exactly what he said and that he was only replacing a sandwich he was very rude and definitely did not act or conduct himself in the manner in which a "Manager" should have. This is by far the worst Culvers I have ever experienced and in my opinion their manager may need to be re-trained in interpersonal communication skills and respect for patrons. Cortez was by far the most disrespectful Manager I've ever encountered in a fast...
Read moreOn December 20, 2023, around 6pm, I went to Culver's restaurant to place my order. The outside drive through was getting busy, so I went inside There were 2 other customers waiting for their order inside the restaurant. As I waited for my order, I was given time to observe the workers' dispositions, and overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I was very impressed!!! The tall, african-american young man, who wore glasses, appeared to be a manager/supervisor was calm, eventhough it was starting to get busy, efficient, very organized, focused and reliably in control. One of the cashiers was exceptionally and genuinely pleasant, and friendly with a sincere smile. From the cooks to the cashiers everyone did their jobs efficiently! The back counter, where they wrap and put the orders in the bags, was clean. There was no food all over that area. All counters looked clean, and the floors looked clean. The uniform of the supervisor and cashiers looked neat, clean and shirts were tucked in. I was so impressed and proud of those young men and women taking care of business. I wanted to tell the manager, and almost gave them a round of applause, but I didn't want to disrupt their flow. This is why I am giving them a 5 star review in ALL categories!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Keep up the...
