My family of 24 made a reservation to hear the organist on a Tuesday evening. Our tables were ready when we arrived, the service was great, our waiter was very attentive to our needs, especially to those with allergies, and the food was delicious! (The Works pizza was my favorite) The atmosphere made us feel like we were on vacation. The man playing the organ was wonderful, and even noticed when the kids were enjoying the music, bubbles, and dancing. He catered to everyone there, as if he were enjoying watching how happy everyone was. He came around and asked if there was a special occasion we were celebrating, and we told him I was in town from Hawaii for a visit. He did the same for the other tables there as well. How surprised was I when he played "Aloha 'Oe" on the organ and announced a "welcome back to Chicagoland!" (Mahalo, sir!) Our family dinner at Beggar's Pizza is honestly a highlight of my trip. The history of the building and the organ are fascinating, and I'm so thankful that it's still playing. This is a piece of history that we get to experience still today. If you haven't eaten here in person yet, stay and enjoy the show! (Tuesday and Friday evenings 6:30-9:30pm!) Highly recommend!

I have been visiting this establishment for 6 years and have not left a review. Beggars is truly the best representation for a Chicago pizza. The cheese is authentic and perfect every time. The sausage is savory and pepperoni is delicate. Cheese fries are bomb. Garlic cheesy bread is bomb. Cookie deep dish is bomb. Burger is bomb. This isn’t Little Ceasars, you won’t be paying $8 for a large pizza. You get what you pay for. They were awesome even during COVID when there was no dine in. However, after COVID they seem short staff on servers but they’re always nice to us so no complaints there. Atmosphere is adorable. Love the fact that this building was previously a theatre. I love it here and will continue to visit every month.

Ive ordered on several occasions from this location. I ordered 5 pizzas for my birthday party. Came to pick them up and asked one of the 7 people behind the counter if they could help. Not one even attempted to help me walk out to the car, they were all "too busy" & "don't offer curbside assistance". So I took all 5 boxes, $158 worth of pizzas and carried them down the long hallway, and down the sidewalk to my car. As i grabbed the stack of boxes, i walked past a man who was also trying to figure out why he was charged extra for sauce. The customer service is gone. The pizzas were Just OK. I will never buy anything from here again. I will be going to Aurelios in South Holland, or the Beggars in Harvey from now on.

Been eating there since the early 90s. Went in tonight to pick up a order and while we waited i decided to play the poker machines there in the establishment itself not next store at Kilroys but at Beggars. When i went to cash out i noticed the machine to redeem the money was temporarily down. I asked an employee but she said she knew nothing about them so i asked if they called a tech out she told me she wasnt sure. As a business owner with machines in my establishment when this occurs we promptly call a technician who usually arrives with in the hour or if its going to be longer we can pay the ticket out of the register and when the technician arrives we are reimbursed. So i went to the other counter where my to go order was ready and asked if they could somehow solve my issue since i was leaving. The lady said she wasn't sure so asked the gentleman next to here who i would assume was the manager. He looked at me and told me to call the number on the wall. I asked if he knew if someone had called already because thats what we do and everywhere i ever played had the same practice and i play alot at alot of different places. He said if i wanted to wait he would call for me but i am to call because the poker machines there were not their machines the ones in there establishment. 🤔🤷‍♂️ Now i am confused because on top of the ticket it says Lansing Beggars Pizza. And there in the Lansing Beggars Pizza. So i will never play the machines there again and if i decide to ever eat there again do to how the situation was handled and to how he spoke to me like i am some idiot i will play at Kilroys or somewhere else close while i waited for my order. Good Luck with collecting your money while your there you will most likely have to call and find a time to stop back to collect. Not my type of...

Do not eat here unless u like hair in ur food and a lot of sauce on ur pizza! Today I went to get pizza and it was horrible worst then the last two that I’ve gotten .. this pizza i had a 20$ credit because my last two pizzas was burned ,barely cheese and enough sauce to make another pizza . I’ve been coming to beggars nearly 15 years and has never experienced bad service like I do with this inparticular location ‘ not sure if it’s the cook or their new policy is to give lots of sauce and over cook the pizzas. When I complained about my pizza one manager told me that’s how it’s cook he was very snaughty then I wanted someone over him and she was about the same way both pizza was messed up and the pizzas are 26 a piece and she said well I can only give a 20$ credit instead even replacing at least one but I said ok because I didn’t wana go back and fourth.

I finally go in for the credit upon walking in the workers are playing and thrown a blistex lip balm right across my face where it could have almost hit me , I let that slide .then I ask why do it smel like urine when I walk in the cashier said oh it do again !!!!Next i get my pizza get home and the pizza looks like Pizza Hut and taste like ceasars pizza then I guess since I ask for them not to be cut so big the cook cut them in nickel sizes literally and some part was pencil cut I wana assume messing this pizza up was on purpose and been an ass by cutting the pizza and nickel sizes, lastly my son says it’s hair on his pizza I was just gross out after this.. wasn’t no need to call because all this was on purpose Burning. Not enough cheese, To Much Sauce ,Hair ,And cutting them in tiny tiny bites like I’m 1 years old .

Save the trip go the extra mile to get to...

I am feeling truly perturbed regarding someone name “Ramone”who identified himself as a manager. I came in tuesday and received honorable service from an employee. I called yesterday(thursday) and spoke to Ramone, I specifically asked him if this particular employee was there because I wanted to drop off a large tip in a thank you card. Ramone explained she was off today but assured me she would be in TODAY(friday) and he would contact her to make sure she received her tip. My co-workers & I changed our flights, then drove 1 and a half hours back to this location to drop it off to Ramone. I had already told Ramone how much we were giving her and wanted to make sure she received it l. He, again assured me she would get it and kept thanking me for “what i was doing”. After driving over an hour to this location! we were told by another employee(Christine) I believe is her name, that this employee will not be in because Ramone had her terminated on Tuesday!??!! Ramone knew this employee no longer worked there and about her being there tonight is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! To have someone like this working in this establishment, possibly stealing tips from vulnerable employees is truly concerning! We are truly upset that we made changes to our flights, then drove over an hour away, only to have been lied to. I will be contacting the corporate offices and the BBB regarding this matter until it’s resolved!!! Truly truly truly...
