A Mixed Experience!

I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience from yesterday’s lunch at Crayven Jerk

Let’s start with the positives: the food was absolutely delicious! Each bite was packed with flavor, and it’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in their offerings. I truly enjoyed my meal and can see why this place has garnered a good reputation for its cuisine.

However, my experience was marred by the service. The lady who took my order seemed more interested in a personal phone conversation about outfits than in providing attentive service. It was quite distracting and, frankly, unprofessional.

When I inquired about the lunch special that advertised a complimentary pop, I was met with a rude response that made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. This lack of consideration for customers is concerning, especially in a place that serves such wonderful food.

I sincerely hope that management considers implementing some formal training for their staff. It’s essential that the deliciousness of the food is matched by a welcoming and professional atmosphere. No one should have to endure unwanted personal conversations while dining, nor should they feel like a bother for simply asking a question.

I believe that with a little attention to customer service, Crayven jerk could elevate the dining experience to match the quality of their food. I look forward to seeing improvements on...

The first time I went I got oxtail dinner it was okay wasn't very much meat the oxtails was really small , the second time was worse very little meat some fat but a lot of rice and beans ,more rice and beans than anything the sides were delicious as usual I was going to try the beef short ribs but after reading a review on those I changed my mind I was just giving them a try well on to the next place and also the second time the lady that was working was very rude wasn't giving no attention to the customers staring at her cell phone while you wait for her would have gave an extra star if she gave us extra attention not SMH heavy set girl with glasses Ryan S. For the past two years, my family has been looking for a Jerk spot that compares to Tropical Times that was out in Melrose Park, IL. We tried several and none compared. Well, until today!! This food not only compared but was MUCH BETTER. As a family, we had the jerk chicken mixed dinner, jerk catfish dinner, jerk tips, cabbage, Mac and cheese and salad. EVERYTHING was delicious. But to top it all off, the jerk sauce was amazing. In addition, the service was great, the wait was 15 minutes and the young lady who took the order was patient with a first time customer.. We found our new Jerk spot!!!! Highly recommend..
