NO COBBS — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I came into store on July 18th,2022 cashier young black girl with braids and braces was extremely rude. I came into store at 9:25 pm I was told their no longer taking orders. Prior to me coming in I called the store to place a order over the young lady kept hanging the phone up. When I asked to speak to the owner she told me to hold on and sat the phone down and never came back to the phone. This needs to handled. No one should ever handle business this way. This isn’t professional at all . I have been hung up on 6times. I will be following up with the owner and this young lady should be fired. The food is good but customer service is terrible. I hate to say it but many owners let their workers mess up their business. I’m a business owner and I wouldn't have anyone like this in my establishment. The store online say that they close at 10pm how do you stop taking orders 30mins prior to. The hours on the door says 10:30pm.How do you even feel comfortable representing someone else business like this?She seemed to not had wanted to be at work at all. Like if you don’t like your job go to school get a education so you can do something you actually enjoy instead of tearing someone’s else business down. I got there at 9:20 pm, and saw that they closed at 10:30 pm, so I had plenty of time. Upon entering a staffer let me know they were only doing fried foods, saddened, but I still walked over to the menu on the wall to figure out what I would try. Another customer entered asking for a menu, and was directed to the menu on the wall because they ran out. We both conversed over what we'd try when a third customer came in. We were still talking, but decided we would try something else, when in our way out another staffer did, "I don't know why y'all looking at the menu, we stop taking orders at 9:28 pm." That's when me and the other customer looked puzzled because we both were directed to a menu that clearly wasn't going to be cooked. So the staff clearly showed us no regards because that could've saved some confusion and time. But the fact there was no urgency to clarify why there would be no more food cooked an hour before closing time, and the way the staff were nonchalant about treating the customer with respect, warrants this 1...

I ordered takeout from this establishment.....I ordered the Catfish and spaghetti and a side of mac......they called saying they were out of mac n cheese 🤦🏽‍♀️ so I choose an alternate side which was fried cabbage........my order did arrive on time through ubereats .......I open the paper bag and it's soaked in cabbage juice I hope.......then I get to the Styrofoam container and it looks used like this container went through a beating. I take the Styrofoam container out the paper bag and container literally bends in half and the food almost falls out cuz the container is so beat up.......On top of it looking used it had a whole punched in the top of the container.........if that wasn't enough I open the container and I have no spaghetti like i ordered but 2 sides of fried cabbage and I only ordered 1 side of fried cabbage.....I was beyond disgusted with my food when it looked like a used styrofoam container so I didn't eat it and threw it in...
