On the kozy korner 2 Facebook page I commented and told the owner how I loved her sandwiches and the reason I stopped patronizing her business. A little over a year ago I came inside the business to purchase a large pan of sandwiches and the young man (who I found out was her son) told me they didn't accept $100 dollar Bill's. He told me to go get change or go next door to Fairway to make a purchase. The owner assumed by my polite Facebook comment that I had an attitude which I didn't and still don't but seeing as how that's her son I understand her jumping on defensive mode. Anyway of course she deleted my comments after telling me because she's a black business I decided not to shop there anymore because they ran out of change. I commented and said how is that the fault of the customer if a business ran out of change although her son never said that I guess she's making an excuse for him. Apparently her and her staff isn't on the same accord and she's offended or upset when ppl speak on an experience that involve her business. She will only show the good stuff so I decided to post it here. You should have frequent staff meetings that way all your stories match and stop being offended by the mishaps involving this business. I spend my hard earned money where me as a customer is satisfied whether the business is black owned or not. Think about how different you could have handled my complaint not one time did you apologize or suggest to please give your business another opportunity. Your approach and attitude is horrible not business professional at all
In response to your reply. I have screenshots of our whole comment thread so you're just a liar liar don't get on Google and try to act like I passed him a counterfeit bill or some sort. He NEVER even took the money out my hand. He saw I was paying with a $100 dollar bill and said we don't take $100 dollar bill. It was straight from Chase bank atm so it wouldn't have mattered if you him or whoever's called the police. You wasn't even there so you automatically assuming the business didn't have change. That was the excuse you gave me. I'll post the whole post on Facebook SMH. Maybe you have since then gotten counterfeit markers or whatever and I never said two years I said a little over a year ago. Read moreI hope that the owner receives this constructive criticism. I am not sure if the owner is aware of this or not, but she is not very pleasant. If you speak, she does not speak back, if you have questions about the menu, she does not demonstrate professionalism or patience. It takes nothing to be kind. I want to support, but the owner needs to make an effort to recognize that her attitude is just not the best. There are other hoagie places in the area who have better customer service and the prices are more reasonable. The prices here are just not very competitive at all. The product is awesome, but good customer service is important. My hope is that the owner will receive this complaint and not view it as an attack on her business or her personally. This is simply to provide feedback in the hopes that the service will improve. If people did not care, they would not take the time to provide feedback. My hope was that you would receive this constructively. It appears that you feel that people are out to get you. I never mentioned race. So you say it was not you, but why are you not concern that some of your employees don't have the best attitudes. Instead of applying the information to improve your business you would rather attack the person who wrote the review. I don't understand that at all. You seem to think that no one in your establishment has a bad attitude. You also seem to think that you are being treated unfairly because you are black. All those places you mention get good and bad reviews. People provide feedback to all the establishments....
Read moreI placed an order on line for son's prom 2 months in advance, I wanted someone else to pick up the order, but I had to go there prior, just to show my credit card and ID to prove I placed the order. I expressed that this was a bit inconvenient and a hassle to the son. The owner called me asking if I had a message for her and that her policy is on the website and she does $30k a month in sales and have people come from all over to patronize her....blah blah. I stated that I have never had to do this and she responded I don't about other business that you patronize but black people have caused her to lose over $10 in sales so she stands by her policy. That's fine but like I told her I've obliged with your policy and their was no reason for her to call me. She has no humility at all, I agree with prior reviews no matter how long you've been in business POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN CAUSE YOUR BUSINESS TO FAIL AND SHE DOES HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE. I didn't even get a chance to taste the sandwiches that I purchased but my guests must have enjoyed them because they were all gone. I will never patronize her business again and even the person that initially referred me won't be returning.
