Al Vapor Taqueria — Restaurant in Thornton Township

Where do I even begin? This food is amazzzingggg. I have never been to another Mexican restaurant that gives you as fresh of steak as their tacos had. Nice, perfectly-cooked pieces. Just as good when reheated. Seasoned perfectly. Their tacos are larger than other restaurants too, so thinking I could down five, I in reality only was able to manage two! Their taco Tuesday deal is 2 for $5, which is well-worth the price. Courteous with their toppings and sauces too. Tomatillo is to die for, as is their other green sauce. I tried the flan this past time, it was sooo good and fresh. This family-owned business is gonna drain my bank account and I'm not even mad about it!!!!!!!! The inside is nice, the outside is very cute too with flowers and picnic tables! I wish I could include pictures but the food didn't even sit on my plate long-enough. Alwayssss been accompanied by good-service, compliments to the chefs fr. Will recommend...

Idk about you guys, but I’m hard pressed to find great customer service that is also consistent with great food out here in the South Suburbs of Chicago. My brother-in-law told me to give this place a try because I’ve been struggling to find well rated tacos 😩 out here, so I said what the heck. From placing my order over the phone all the way to picking up my order, I was treated so well. These people here? They care! and you can feel it and taste it! The steak tacos were DELICIOUS and tender and the Horchata is not too overly sweet, just perfect. My husband and I will gladly be back 😁😁😁

YAAAASSSSSSS!!!!---Yall definitely brought a tear 🥹---It is something about FOOD that encourages your soul. AL VAPOR, MENUDO---!!!! Whatever it may be or whoever you are, GOOOOOOD FOOD not only connects US, IT GETS US THROUGH!!!. There is love in their food. You feel it walking in. IVE TRIED MANY IN The AREA AND AL VAPOR is your GO-TO!!! Seriously, somebody doing magic back there. It's fresh and so clean; I put it in the fridge and it didn't "gell up," the avocado...
