(Update, I decided to go back and I'm sooooooo mad. This is not the good food I had the first time I went there. The Mac and cheese definitely wasn't baked, the yams was hard as rocks, Cabbage was cool. Even the flavors was meh. Super upset, I really though o had find my new spot and to habe such a drastically different experience from last time, which was seriously like a little over a month ago is beyond me.)......(First Review)-I decided to give this place a try since it's new and 5 minutes away from my house. I'm so glad I did. The customer service was great. And the food was so flavorful and good. Seriously the Mac and Cheese, Yams, Cabbage and Rice/peas. Sooooo freaking good. They actually season the food. Creamy mac and cheese, yams sweet but not overly sugared to death and whoever cooked that cabbage gots to be somebody great aunt with the thick arms it was seasoned so good. Now the chicken. I'm not typical. I despise big hormone filled chicken. I like regular small to medium sized chicken. So if you want gigantic wings the size of a grown man's hand, This ain't the place for you. They're chicken is on the small side and I ain't mad at it. However due to them being so small the pieces I got was a bit over done and a little dry. Now flavor wise it was all that and then some. Seasoned great and the spice was on point. So over all I enjoyed my meal and smashed every grain of rice in it. I will definitely be back to order some of the other entrees. My next one is the lamb...

I had a frustrating experience with this restaurant that felt quite deceptive. After ordering two dinners through DoorDash, I received a call from the delivery person saying our order had been canceled, which was not the case. When I contacted the restaurant directly, they informed me that they had run out of food and insisted that I cancel my order. The manager, Aaron, was unprofessional, speaking loudly and making threatening remarks. He hung up on me twice when I requested that the restaurant cancel the order since they had no food available at 6:30 PM on a Monday. DoorDash explained that if either I or the dasher canceled, the restaurant could keep our money. Since the restaurant was at fault, they should have canceled the order to avoid this issue. By forcing me to cancel, I would lose $50 while they keep the payment without providing any service. This situation feels like a clear...

I’m disappointed that I had to give this restaurant 1 star they deserve a zero. I spoke with a man who said he was the manager named Aaron. He was rude and constantly wanted to talk over you. My family spent close to 60.00 dollars at this restaurant. Only to have the dasher arrive and find out they ran out of food. Instead of canceling our order as they should have done,, this Aaron person tried to make the dasher cancel the order. Then tried to have us cancel the order. This way we would not receive our money back. After many messages to door dash we finally received our money back. The customer service is horrible and I firmly believe they were going to try to keep our money. What good restaurant runs out of food at 6:00 pm on a Monday night? Just go ahead and close your doors.
