Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Thornton

well i havnt had fast food for about a month due to a diet and my wife and i decided to have a hamburger as a splurge. told her if we are going to do that then i want a quality hamburger from carl's jr. went through the drive through and we ordered a #3 with a unsweat tea and a 6 dollar burger. asked the lady if they have a kids menu and the lady answered to the left of the screen so we ordered the chicken tenders. we pulled up and paid but before we got our food i complained about being charged for regular menu tenders, not the kids. the lady had the nerve to tell me not to worry about the difference in price because its not that much anyways. i made them refund me the difference then they gave us our food and we were on our way home. got home and opened everything up. my wife's tea was sweatenned witch gives up both headeches and when i openned my hamburger to make sure it wasnt screwed with, it had 2 bites taken out of it. 2 bites!!! called and talked to jeff miller the gm and he argued with me saying it was from the grill. im sorry bud but your grill doesnt take 2 bites out of my patty, buns, and tomatoes!!!! never go back and recommend...

Ordered 3 meals. Ended up Paying for four. I take that as my fault but I did ask to change one meal for another. I thought the tender said 29 dollars which made sense and it ended up being 49 dollars. I thought little Of it and just went home. I didn’t have time to argue. I had a sick wife and hungry daughter at home. Get home and my wife got the wrong burger. Specifically what she didn’t want actually, and it seemed like it was made with old meat. Not made fresh for sure. Her onion rings were cold and old. Definitely not made fresh. My burger was alright. The patties were old. Just like the other burgers but the spicy-ness helped with that. Just not what I expect with Carl’s Jr. I expect that from Mickey Ds or BK or TB. Not CJ. I’ll wait a little longer for fresh food and the right order. I think anyone would. For a first time visit, I wasn’t satisfied. If I came to ‘your’ house on a service call, you would expect a good job be done. No mistakes. No excuses. Just get it done right and in a timely manner. Is that a lot to ask for from our meals?

The food is great. The problem is you just never know what food you’re going to get. If this were the first time this has happened at this location I wouldn’t say anything but it’s happened it’s happened enough that the running joke in my house is that it doesn’t matter what you order…you won’t get it. For example: tonight I ordered 2 #6 meals with onion rings and 2 Arnold Palmers. What I got was 3 #3’s with fries, 1 sprite and 2 ice teas. The young lady at the had no idea what I was saying and seemed distraught. Her manager came over to help but she didn’t understand much of what I was saying either. I didn’t want to hold up the line behind so I paid, wished them well, and went on my way. If I go back (let’s be honest, they have great burgers) I’ll skip the drive through and walk in.
