I only give it 1 star because there is no 0 star option. I have been here twice in two weeks. The first time I waited at the drive-thru for 8 minutes before anyone said anything. The person who finally said something just said "Order when you're ready", no hello, thanks for waiting, sorry for the wait, nothing. So I did order. I ordered a Reese's Blast. I pulled to the window and waited 5 mins before anybody came to the window. The lady that came to the window again said nothing like "Hello welcome" or "Sorry for the wait". She said "That'll be (and named the cost)". I handed her my card, she took it the window closed and she came back 2 minutes later with my card and receipt, not the blast. She said NOTHING. The window closed again and it was about 5 minutes before she came back with my order. She handed it to me and again said NOTHING. The window closed. I took down the number on the window that is posted for people to call with comments or complaints. I called it and NEVER received a callback. Today my husband asked my to PLEASE go get him a slushy. I did not want to go but I love the guy and he really wanted one. So, I went. I got there the drive-thru was completely backed up so I chose to pull into a stall. I pushed the button and waited about 3 or 4 minutes. I looked over and the button was somehow "unpushed". So, I pushed it again, waited 3 or 4 minutes and again it went off. So I pushed it a 3rd time. After 2 minutes a lady came over the intercom and said "I'm sorry for the inconvenience we're gonna need you to around to the drive-thru." I said "WHAT?! I've been here for almost 10 minutes and now you come on and tell me to drive through the drive-thru?" She answered "Yes, ma'am we're short staffed today." So I said "Why didn't you tell me that the first time I pushed the button not after I've pushed it 3 times and sat here for 10 minutes." She again just recited her rhetoric about being short staffed and said "There's nothing we can do about it." Today I did not stay. I came home and tried to find a way to complain other than the number that's on the window because obviously no one is returning those calls. I finally called the number to a Sonic on 120th to get the number for their corporate office and called and put in a complaint there. I've been given a reference number and told this will be "escalated" and someone will contact me in 24-48 business hours. We'll see. I will NEVER go to this location again. I really love Sonic and have never had an issue like this at any other location but now, twice in 2 weeks at...
Read moreThis visit almost tops the worst fast food experience I have had in the last 20 years or so. The shift manager had zero customer service skills in fact he happened to have been the one that made my order of 8 route 44 slushes, hard to screw up, right ? Well it was!!! 1/2 of my drinks were the wrong flavor and two of were large, not route 44's!!! So I spoke with the lead by phone and he told me he could refund or remake the order so I choose to have the order remade but for he next day and he agreed. The next day I went to pick the the remake and the shift lead who I spoke with told me that he made the actual order and he remembered making it and started naming the flavors AFTER LOOKING AT THE RECEIPT FROM THE DAY BEFORE, I told him their were flavors that were unidentifiable and two of them had candy in it which was not part of the order. Surprisingly he then said, "c'mon don't lie". My mouth dropped to the floor . He then stood there and argued with me for a few minutes and so I through my hands in the air and turned to leave. I was furious. One of the employees said he could refund the order but a few minutes later he told me I would have to go through the app even though I had the receipt in my hands. So I then tried to go to the app and nowhere on the app could I get the refund I was to call the 800 number so I did spoke with them and she's going to the the customer service representative from my guest corporate is going to refund the order but then she said that someone would talk to the lead manager the lead employee whoever that was his name started with an E anyway it was a horrible experience I couldn't believe it I called corporate and they recorded it I doubt that any repercussion is going to happen with this whatever position he was but I just can't let it rest I could not believe he was sitting there arguing with me I could not believe it so I will not return to that store and I will let the store manager know or the regional just because I can't let this rest he upset me very bad so that's what happened horrible experience horrible order incorrect store was dirty, was seen because I had to go inside to talk with staff. After seeing the unkempt store, I'm kind of glad because I definitely won't order drinks from there much less order food there. Horrible service horrible drinks horrible management. Never again to return!!! In conclusion if you must patronize this particular establishment, check your order before leaving...
Read moreI'd worked here for less than a month! I wouldn't come here kitchen is disgusting and no one except me practiced proper food handling! I just moved back here and wasn't aware that you didn't need a food handlers permit unless you're management! That's standard where I came from (Utah)! I got sick because no-one there will wash the hands regularly! Helping a customer taking money and then without washing hands and putting gloves on, will make your food! I'm the only one who uses gloves. The staff is filled with teenagers which is expectable but most of the shift management is around same age. I got yelled at for trying to clock in 2min early! Got fired a couple days ago because I was late yet no one else has and there'd been plenty of people late. Plus she didn't like me... A couple employees smoking weed on their 10min break on the property. Even saw the gm wipe her hands after she washed them on a dirty apron! The grossest place I've ever worked in! No timers for how long food has been out. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! Disorganized, rude and health code violations up the ass! I'm surprised the place hasn't got shut down but if you've ever gotten sick from eating here those are the reasons! Only 2 people there.Everyone needs to do themselves a favor and cook at home!
