Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Let me start by saying i manage a restaurant not to far from this Taco Bell. I know that no matter what, your customers are the most important part of your job. That being said, I get being understaffed. There are times when I only have myself and my dishwasher. That does not deter me from giving the best service possible. Tonight I pulled up to the drive through speaker at Taco Bell at 9:55. I was told that the car ahead of me was the last order they were taking because they were closing early that night at 10. So I’m here at 9:55 and you won’t serve me? Even though you’re not even closing for another 5 minutes? Since I was the “last car” I got stuck in the drive through waiting for everyone to get their orders. When I pulled up to the window, the cashier said that they not only are closing at 10(until Wednesday) but that her manager advised her to close even earlier due to staffing issues. When I asked to speak with the manager, another cashier came up at told me my total was $12 and some change. I let him know that I wasn’t allowed to order and was waiting for a manager, who by the way, took his sweet time. I explained the issue and again was told that they are short staffed and people needed to “go home.” He said he was directed by the general manager to close before the actual closing time. This is insane to me. Not only was this manager rude, but he had worse customer service skills then the cashier who was at the window to begin with. If this were me, I would serve the customer. What is 3 extra minutes of your time if it means you gain a repeat customer? And technically you’re already closing at 10 oppose to your normal time, so why cut it even more and lose sales? This could have been very easily avoided. If you’re manager seriously doesn’t care about sales or numbers, and he wants to cut corners and close early, then maybe he should turn off all the lights 3 cars before the “last car.” What I’m trying to say is I know how it feels to be understaffed,.. but I also know that regardless, even if I’m the only person working, I NEVER turn away a customer even if I close in the next 30 seconds. That’s just bad business and awful customer service. I truly hope this was not actually the GM’s directive and that the shift manager was just shifting blame. The manager tonight (6/28) was beyond rude and has no business being a supervisor, and honestly probably not even a cashier. Maybe they would be better in the role of a cook, that way there’s no people interaction. I want to also say that I was not rude to these people what so ever, but more curious as to why they thought this was acceptable.I just wanted a valid answer. I hope that in the future you are able to hire more adequate staff, not just in quantity but in quality as well. And I hope that your shift manager gets the correct amount of coaching to help avoid situations like this in the future. As for me I will never return to this Taco Bell. I would rather drive an extra 2 miles to receive half way decent service at 120th and colorado then deal with your lazy, rude, and under...
Read moreIf you want to visit the worst run taco bell in the country I highly recommend this place. I usually drive a mile out of the way to another taco bell in town if I'm craving the 4th meal. I made the mistake of going back to this one before making this review and what an experience! First let me tell you about prior visits! Typically they just screw up orders and make you wait an eternity while they figure out how they're going to screw it up, but other times were comically bad. I made an online order at this location and when I got there, they had a note saying they were out of beef, chicken, and steak. I picked up my order anyway and all the items were filled with beans. I stopped going for a few months, but returned when I was in the mood for some adventure. They told me they were out of beef this time when trying to order and then made sure to charge me extra when I asked to substitute steak instead, I could only laugh at how shameless that was. They managed to outdo themselves tonight. I was making a mobile order and the location changed to this one. I didn't care to start the order over so I went with it. I get to the drive thru and there's a lone car sitting there. I should have come to my senses and left when it took over 10 minutes to take this person's order, but I decided to let it play out. It took another 15 minutes for this person to get their order. Figured maybe they ordered the whole store or something, but no. There was just one lone bag. I got to the window and the first they did was tell me they were out of Baja blast. I asked for Dr pepper instead. Out of that too so I asked for a Pepsi. When they saw I was unfazed by this they asked what sauce. I asked for fire like any normal person would. And you guessed it, they were out of that too. When I got my order I knew the bag was way too heavy to be what I ordered, but I didn't care at this point. I had waited for so long and knew it would take another half hour if I had them get me my actual order so I went with it. It had completely different items in it and now I'm making this review to tell others about how terribly run...
Read moreWent on to this TB last night around 7. I ordered using the kiosk and waited. While waiting, one of the employees (a kid) dropped a bag of cheese. While they cleaned it he was cleaning his shoe. Once finished, he turned, returned to the line, as to prepare food. A customer spoke up to the manager, to which he walked to the back, still in view, and laughed about it in lieu of reprimanding said employee. She spoke up again to another employee (a different kid), who promptly went to the one who dropped the cheese, told him what to do, he did it. Then theft returned to preparing food in a sanitary manner. At this point I had been waiting quite a while for my food (was the only person in there when I ordered). As I noticed my order finally being prepared, a customer mentioned that this particular TB had gone down hill. Finally, as this same young man who dropped cheese before was finishing up my order, he grabbed the box of tacos to bring and the bottom dropped out spilling tacos all over the floor. They picked up the tacos and disposed of them, at which point one of the customers who came after me decided she wanted her money back. When she approached the counter for it, the kid working up front said ok and proceeded to go get his manager. He came back a short while later saying that he was unable to do that as he was not a manager and that his manager was no longer there. She got upset, saying she had to Lane and wanted her money. At which point he went back behind the real again and the manager suddenly was back 🤔 I hope absolutely nothing against the kids working last night. Things happen, and sometimes it's one thing after another. However, the manager working did a poor job of handling all situations coming at him. If he can't handle minor things like this, he should NOT be a manager. Probably won't go back...
