This place was totally awesome till the Karaoke DJ decided to give her 2 cents on how she wants karaoke to be done. This place was not at all busy like how other Karaoke places are so when we tried to get our friend to sing (and she didn't want to when it was her turn) me and another friend filled in for her. The DJ had the nerve to tell us "That it's not good form" but yet no one else was going up to request songs. I'm a pretty prolific Karaoke singer that had delt with many different DJ's. One such is named Sexy Jesus and he never commented on others singing songs requested by others for other people. He is more concerned with people just having a good time and not the logistics of it all. Needless to say that rubbed me the wrong way because I know how karaoke is done at a professional level but yet the DJ was nothing like the DJ's of Downtown Denver (She had to download Songs she didn't have, which are pretty common Karaoke songs). I didn't bother to mentions the DJ's name hoping she will learn from this experience and better herself and business. We have a lot of fun here! There are pool tables, karaoke, and a heated back deck! The drinks aren't overly expensive. The staff are pretty chill and attentive. The people are fun and engaging. There were police officers there last time, who appeared to be there for no apparent reason, other than exercising entrapment techniques. Not many people want to go to a bar where there are cop cars chillin out front and they are hanging out in the bar with their uniforms on. We go to the outskirts of downtown too avoid downtown drama. I've lived in smaller Colorado towns where police parade around in all the bars, just to make a presence, or their bored. It's not necessarily good for business.
