Western Bagel — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

My experience here was based on management and a staff member named "Lola". My patronage has been 10 months now. The employee is described later middle aged with curly brown hair mixed dyed blond hair. Her actions tells the story. She has consistently not wrapped the bagel in the bag and falls out. She makes sure the bag she puts it is not fully open but still folded on bottom. I guess she let's out her frustration on some customers and others with smile and delight by wrapping food according to company policy. I thought I talk to a manager while in the store. She answered with a little confusion that she is one of the managers. Her description, in her 20's with fair complexion and height around 5 feet or less. She then goes to her and tells her that she "loves" her for everyone to hear. This was not the professional outcome I expected. Reviewers been saying that management been looking the other way when it comes to complaints about the staff.

The people who work here are so rude! They never smile, don't make eye contact, don't speak to you unless they are taking your money. They are disrespectful. I saw a delivery person come in...one of the ones who pick up food for other people. They saw him, but didn't speak to him, never looked at him again...basically ignored him for at least 10-15 minutes. Finally they handed him his food, didn't look at him or say anything...walked away. that's how they treat the customers too. I have gone there twice. Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time, but after my second experience, will not be going back as well as recommend to my friends no to go back either. Why support an establishment that treats their customers with such disdain. AND they charge...

I ordered four (4) bagels. Not one order was correct-and I saw the woman write the order down! Every bagel was wrong-the type bagel, the ingredients, and the number of bagels-I got three instead of four. The bagels were all toasted and tasted fine, but they were not what I ordered.
