I’ve been to the new Azuki Boba Tea on Kanan four times now, hoping each visit would be better than the last, but every single time has been extremely disappointing. The customer service consistently feels subpar — staff seem disinterested and unhelpful. On multiple visits, they were out of several items listed on the menu, and when I did manage to order something, it rarely looked or tasted like the photos advertised. To make things worse, I’ve had issues with pricing mistakes more than once, and the checkout process feels awkward because of how pressured you are to leave a tip — even though the service and food don’t come close to earning it. For what you pay, the quality just isn’t there. After giving them several chances, I can confidently say I won’t be coming back. Mentally I want this place to be so great, but it’s just not. I have a much better experience at A Tea Thing in Westlake. Hopefully, they take feedback seriously and make improvements, because right now it’s just...

Another 5 star, well deserved. This place exceeded my expectations greatly; Thousand Oaks isn’t known for their boba or Asian influence like some parts of Los Angeles proper, but this place is a great start. I really enjoyed the waffle which tasted phenomenal and came out quickly even though the location was busy when we got there. The drinks were off the hook and the perfect balance between sweet and savory that you would expect. My next time back I will be trying the shaved ice for sure. As an added bonus, grab yourself a selfie against the wings on the wall - great touch and a good way to stay busy while waiting.

Location is nice, located in the north ranch shopping center next to Trek bicycles, it’s never been easier to get your boba urges satisfied. The location was well lit, clean and had restrooms available. Service was very quick and the staff was very friendly. I will be...

Azuki Tea is one of my favorite places to get boba drinks. The workers are always super friendly, and patient. They are always willing to listen to my customizations.

Their tea + fruit combos are amazing. You can taste that they are made with real tea and real fruit, and not made by a pre-made mix. I got the galaxy green melon drink last time I went in, and enjoyed the taste of real, blended green melon, along with a bit of tartness.

You can watch them make your drinks, and see how they make things by hand, and not from a drink mix.

The savory bites, and desserts they have are truly the cherry on top, and elevate them above other boba shops.

Last visit I also got mango shaved ice with my choice of toppings, along with...

The boba itself was a little too hard to be honest. I lived in Taiwan for a year, the place of boba origination, and I know what the perfect consistency is. The rose milk tea with oat milk was pretty good but the house milk tea was a little too strong. My personal favorite boba & house milk tea (totally unsponsored, I’m not getting paid for this) is Chakaa in Newbury Park. Yes, their ambiance is a little less inviting, but the boba is a bit better than Azuki. The price is the same. The boba at Ckakaa is softer but still fun to chew through without being too mushy; the fruit and milk teas there are a good tasting. Azuki is okay overall. I would still come back if in the Westlake area.
