Tami was not the greatest server in the place. I hate running the server so I try and let them know everything I will need so she can bring it at once. The big boy breakfast i ordered was supposed to have 3 eggs, I had to ask for my 3rd egg. My hashbrowns were luke warm. It comes with pancakes and I had to ask for butter and syrup. I asked for mustard and mayo in the beginning and had to re-ask, never getting the mayo. My child ordered a fish sandwich just the fish with mash potatoes and gravy choosing sausage gravy. When she got her meal, her fish filet that it showed on the menu was 2 pieces of fish sticks. I got the bill and the sausage gravy was 1.50 upcharge. She didn't bother letting me know or she would have chosen a different gravy. Server never came back to ask for refills on drinks. The server that ran me out, she was willing to get the manager but by that point, I just wanted to leave. It would have been different if there was a busy house, it wasn't. This was supposed to be q day out with my kid. We both had doc appts and we were making a day of it. I have always love big boy. This experience was no where close to even adequate let alone a good experience. We...
Read moreThe food was excellent, but our waitress left a bit to be desired.
A couple of us ran out of soda and she stopped by to take our glasses to refill them and we didn't see her for almost 10 minutes.
When she finally came back with our drinks, she apologized for the delay saying she had to "move some old pies". I have no idea why she would have prioritized moving some old pies over serving her customers.
When we balked at her statement, she said "well, you should have flagged me down" and just left. At no point were we even able to see her during the 'moving of the pies' and we were looking for her.
This simple statement reduced her tip to my standard minimum (15%) and thankfully for her, she did walk away. Had she continued along that line, she would have had no tip, and a complaint filed with her manager.
It may be a while before we visit this...
Read moreThe young man who helped us get our carryout order was phenomenal, super friendly. However, the girl, that I can only assume was a manager, by her very loud, rude comment of “you guys are lucky I’m managing today because that table is a lot”, was beyond unprofessional. As someone who manages a much bigger restaurant, letting customers hear you talk about other customer is very rude. Then, when we got our bag I was double checking everything. I was missing our sauce and just asked if we could get that and then we were all set. When the boy went to grab it the girl, again very loudly, goes “uh there was tartar sauce in there but sure okay”… Just seems to not care who can hear her. Customer service isn’t...
