We went in on a weekday just before 5pm and the place was nearly empty, which is a good thing for me.
The place seems to be run by teenagers, which is always a bad sign. But they were friendly enough.
There is no kid’s burger on the menu so heads-up a plain burger will still run you $12, which hurts.
The owners have obviously put a lot of money into the place and it looks nice and clean, but it’s clear that this is not a place to enjoy beer or food. It is very bright, and feels like a cross between a mini-mart and deli. Beer is probably the third or fourth priority here.
My tri-tip sandwich was excellent. Really loved it. The two burgers we were served were inexcusable. They were beyond well-done, which was surprising to me considering the price and the fact “beef” is in the name of the business. Looking at the menu online before we arrived, we were hoping for more than hockey pucks.
We get some Werner products in my local store sometimes and I honestly like them, but I think they have a lot of kinks to work out before I’ll consider going back to their retail experience.
I think this place has a lot of potential but as of yesterday it feels like a rural Dairy Queen that happens to have beer.

Read moreThis is a place I’d come back to and order food at but as a brewery the beer was just, well it was average beer, nothing noteworthy about it. It’s not a place I’d come back to solely for the beer, let’s say that.
But luckily it’s not just a brewery but a restaurant and as a restaurant the food is great. I personally really enjoyed the wings which gave me the impression they were honey buffalo wings or potentially maple and while not as spicy as I’m used to still had a hint of spice that wasn’t totally overpowered by the sweetness. That said if you like more traditional buffalo wings the I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the sweet hot chicken wings as my friend I was with who wanted more traditional style wings was disappointed, although I think they’re great and would recommend them. It has a large outdoor patio that’s dog friendly and the inside is rather large and modern, It’s an okay atmosphere, it didn’t add anything for me but didn’t take away either.
Overall, I would come back here to enjoy some good food. Come for the food, no need to try the beers. If ya get the beers they’ll meet expectations, it’ll be a solid yeah that was okay, but the food will be great
(PS it’s in an industrial park and when you enter it won’t look like you’re in the right...
Read moreWe’ve been coming here a lot since it opened. Great beer of their own, but also great guest taps and surprisingly sophisticated wine and beer selections for to go. Some covid changes that seem odd choices : 1. We LOVE their wings! But why are they serving everything in “to go” containers? Even with dine in. Takes something away, and the waste! 2. Where’d the salad go? Not ONE salad option on the menu now. Used to be a great salad bar deal, now nothing. At all. Seems like a big oversight. 3. Serving beer in plastic cups. Wasteful and takes away from experience. 4. When we checked in for a table, the hostess gave us each a printed menu, wrote our table number on it, then you go to order at the counter. From an efficiency and waste perspective, very strange. How about print the menus up front? Or just one per party? Overall, it’s a great place. Just some poorly conceived business moves with...
