The service is ok and consists of half order at the window, half they bring the food to your table and bus your dishes.

My wife and I ordered. Our daughter ordered something in a to-go container because she wanted to eat with us but was expecting to take most of it home. They served my wife and me. 20 minutes later we asked for our daughter's food. They had made it late and held it for us to go at the window. Nice except that I told the person taking the order that she would eat some there and take the rest home...

The meal was both good and bad. The tacos could have been good, the tortillas handmade but undercooked. The meat in the fajitas was soft but the sauce was straight up spicy Texas BBQ sauce from a bottle... The beans and rice are edible, but unremarkably Sysco. The salsas were actually quite good but the avocado sauce was very similar to those we had elsewhere.

They have good marks here on Google but could match their 4.7 rating with a little...

I am blown away by the quality, service, and authentic ambiance of Luz Mexican Restaurant. Finally an excellent dining experience in Tillamook. It's reminiscent of Fanny's in the Northside of Chicago. Unpretentious, comfortable, with a 5 star quality rating. I had the "Eric" burrito. This substantial crispy fried outer shell contains a generous core of Carne Asada surrounded by loads of cheese. Even the cold leftovers the following day were bomb. I split the best margarita I've ever had, was full and satisfied with lots of leftovers and only spent $30 total for both of us! I felt like I stepped into a quaint restaurante in Baja. The service was stellar, the food and drinks amazing! No, I'm not being paid by, or related to the proprietors, but I would like to meet those so competent that they've created the best dining experience in the 10+ years I've lived...

SUMMARY: Big portions great shrimp tacos, fair prices.

The enchilada plate is ridiculously big but we’re from Canada where portions are generally much smaller. The steak inside was just a little tough but delicious.

Burrito was very very good. Packed with chicken and a decent amount of avocado at no extra charge which is dope.

The shrimp tacos were their best item by far. If you like shrimp tacos at a reasonable price this place makes sense.

The homemade sauces were excellent as well.

The guy at the cash wasn’t talkative and wasn’t the most pleasant but didn’t do or say anything bad just seemed as though he was having a long day. Made up for it by being kind when he brought...

I eat A LOT of tacos 🌮 but this…just wow! I ordered the three taco plate (carnitas, pastor, asada) and it was the best tacos I’ve had in ages! The tortillas were small, thick, and grilled to perfection- FRESH! The meat to onion/ tortillas ratio was something songs should be written about! 😂 carnitas was my favorite (and the perfectly little grilled jalapeño on the side). I’m gonna be dreaming about these tacos. If I lived in Tillamook, I’d be here all of the time, soo guess I have another reason to visit sooner.

I am from an area that has a LOT of Mexican food, and I’ve tried it all. So I am confident in my assessment of this place. Authentic Mexican. Know what you are getting into. This is not white-washed, which is why it is so good! I got tacos with a couple different meats. Al pastor and asada. Both were great, but I preferred asada. Homemade tortillas. Rice and beans were AWESOME! Along with an ice cold glass bottled coke, it hits the spot. Fair prices. Will return.

This!!! If you have not been to Luz Mexican Restaurant you are missing out. Quesadilla was exceptional, as were the Tacos and the Eric Burrito. Also home to the very best Pico de Gallo. It was so very fresh and masterfully crafted, nothing generic about it. Many authentic selections, for dine in or take out. So much love was put into the food. Excited to go back, hope to see you there.
