The food was HORRIBLE!! And to add insult to injury, the music was just as BAD!!! It was way too loud, which made it very difficult to carry on a conversation and hear my husband sitting right across from me…..The music was so bad, on a scale of one to ten, it was in the triple negatory digits, like finger nails scraping up and down a chalkboard….. Never seizes to amaze me how on earth did that garbage ever get airspace on the radio waves…..Mind you, I love all kinds of music, but that Mexican hiphop, rap, would only appeal to the teenage/20 something group with really bad taste in music….You know, the pirated beats they get off the internet and splice it together to create a pile of garbage that they take all the glory for, and there’s not one single person that even knows how to play any instruments, and have the audacity to call themselves a band, what a joke!!!! Would have been nice to hear some traditional Mexican music that would appeal to a broader audience of all ages….. asked our waitress if there was a place in the restaurant where the music wasn’t so loud, she replied, “no”….. didn’t want to be a Karen, and ask if they could turn the music down….You would think that they would want to make their customers happy, and turn it down a bit, it’s a restaurant, not a nightclub!! But I suppose if they wanted return customers, they would make their food palatable with some actual flavor, it was so bland, it didn’t even taste like Mexican food, it was geared towards the old People that live in Tillamook that can’t eat spicy foods…..On a brighter note, they served frijoles with the salsa and chips, but I had to ask for some spicier salsa, so she bought me some Ghost Pepper salsa, was good…..Honestly I woulda been happy with just the frijoles, chips and salsa 😂😂. I need to let Y’all know, I make EXCELLENT Mexican food, everything I make is from scratch, sauces, salsa, tamales, tacos, enchiladas, Chile verde, Tinga, tortillas…. I chose the ground beef enchilada, and a tamale plate with beans and rice…..Oh M G, the “pork” mystery meat looked like dark brown regurgitated dog food, it was so nauseating, and was in no way shape or form a tamale from this planet, and the corn tortilla that was used for my enchilada, was still partially hard, barely cooked for any length of time…..When the Waitress brought our food to the table, she didn’t even clear the empty salsa and frijoles and chips containers from the table, she just left them there for us to stare at the entire meal…..These young folks nowadays think that we have to tip more than 10%, I tip according to the service I get, not gonna reward these millennials that think they are ENTITLED, on their phones, act like I’m lucky to have them grace me with their presence, and do as little as possible to make their customers feel good about spending a chunk of money on Crappy food and service…. I’m sick of paying for half of their wages, and the tip amounts keep going up….They have options that range from 15%~35% and beyond…..The 10% tip isn’t even an option, but I will customize the amount to fit...

Really popular. We were surprised at how many people were already in the restaurant when we arrived. Lots of people in and out the entire time. When we left there was a line of people waiting to get seated inside. The food was alright. Service seemed to be struggling - the servers seemed tired and were very busy. I wanted to give this place a 4 star but between the food being just okay and the service could've been better, it just left a poor taste in our mouths. We had planned to stay for dessert but they didn't ask so we ended up leaving because we just really felt uncomfortable being there. It was clean and a beautiful place inside. I am curious to have come on a day other than a popular holiday (Labor Day - MANY of the coastal restaurants were closed and we had been searching for a place to eat for hours), they might have had better service. But even as we walked in, we all felt ignored and our server acted like she didn't want to refill our waters. It took forever for the food to come and it just felt like we were unwanted there. I'm guessing everyone was just tired but again it was still pretty lousy service. However it pretty swamped while we were there at 2 in...

When I get a veggie burrito there is a certain standard that I expect. You should know that this standard is not very high as it usually consists of refried beans, cheese and tortilla. But let me tell you, this is not what I received at this very restaurant! I was taken on a journey!

As I began eating what I expected to be a traditional veggie burrito, the first two bites were met with jubilation as my taste buds were met with broccoli! BROCCOLI? yes, broccoli. Continuing on, I moved on to the middle where I was met with another surprise. CARROTS! Glory be to all that is holy. As I continued on, little did I know, I would be met with more surprises. With broccoli & carrots having already exceeded my expectations, the next event in this experience took me to new heights. Rounding out the trio of veggie surprise, the zucchini made an appearance. My life is complete.

I was so pleased with my burrito that the person that has rarely writes a review (me) decided to make an appearance. Five stars. Hands down. Go here and you will not find...

Mexicana is a local place in Tillamook. Its a family owned spot that we always try and stop at when going through town especially during the summer. The owners are usually there and have a chat with the patrons. Covid rules have made everything more difficult dining out but this place has it dialed in! It's one way through the restaurant. All the staff is wearing their masks too. So it's feels safer than a lot of places that flout the rules. We ordered a giant shrimp plate, carne asada, and we basically tried every margarita they had! We had a large family of 10 and they easily accomodated us. Very patient with the kids too. Although ours are generally well behaved. Keep your masks on people! Enjoy the food and good times. Order the mango frozen margarita! It's the only one I didn't get a pic of!

The food was fresh and delicious but the service sucks. We felt uncomfortable from the minute we walked in the door. Staff seemed like the were arguing about not wanting us in there section. Service was slow, communication between staff sucked. One person takes your order, another delivers food and yet another refills drinks and another processes your payment. With so many specialized jobs you would think it would be fast service but it was a cluster f*#!. No one was in sync, our refills never made it, our chip refill was given to a table next to us and they were confused why they got it. Our table was cleared and it took another 20min for our check to arrive. If you can handle horrible service to get some really great mexican food this is the place for you.

This is our 5-STAR go-to restaurant when we hanker for Mexican cuisine: consistently always very good, fresh, and served hot! Friendly, helpful service, great selection of drinks, large servings, satisfying desserts, comfy clean sit-down atmosphere in an old remodeled house “with the red roof”. Conveniently located at the center of old downtown on 3rd, 2-blocks east of Main. Plenty of off-street parking and they also have a parking lot. Last night we had the Special and Carne Asada (strip streak medium rare); Everything was perfect, served piping hot, and satisfying. It smelked so good and it was so tasty… We ate everything too fast to take photos - LOL!
