My fiance and I decided to go here and celebrate our engagement. Unfortunately we were highly disappointed. We opted to share a Beef Wellington plate together, shared a mozzarella stick app, and 2 beverages each. The waitress advised us that the Wellington is cooked to order and would take about a half hour or so to cook. That was ok with us. So as we were waiting, we started planning our wedding, and didn't realize that we had been there over an hour before or dinner was served. Now the restaurant wasn't busy and multiple waitresses kept hovering over to us to see if we needed anything. It was way too many times. And other than a quick congrats when we first informed that it was our engagement celebration dinner. Nothing complimentary. No offer of something special for dessert. Not that I'm looking for a hand out, but it felt a bit cold and like they just wanted us to order more. I'm glad we didn't order more because everything was bland and absolutely not worth the price they charged us. For our little shared, bland dinner, almost $200. In the end, I didn't care about the cost. I still got to go home with my soon to be wife and we had another memory made. ( bottom of...
Read moreWe tried the Onion for the first time tonight. The entire experience was amazing!
First, we came in with a large party unexpectedly. The staff was so friendly and inviting towards us. They took us right in. Made us feel welcome. Right off the bat, we had good vibes.
The food…Oh my gosh, the food. Our party tried everything from appetizers, to chicken parm, Shephard’s pie, scallops…Just to name a few of the meals! Everything was so delicious! We all were complementing it all! I had crème brûlée for dessert. Equally delicious!
Service was phenomenal! I so wish that I could remember our server’s name, because she was one of the best we’ve had! (If they read this, you were the server to the party of 8 on Friday, 12/27 and we thank you for your patience and hard work!!
Overall, 10/10. We...
Read moreOutstanding. A must stop place for a date night. My wife and I dined there this evening. The staff was great. Hostess found a spot for us in a very busy dining room. The food is incredible. You can tell from the moment it hits the table that it's going to be a meal to remember. They really go the extra mile on the presentation. The mozzarella sticks were these logs of perfectly breaded mozzarella cheese, drizzled with a balsamic glaze and a side of marinara. The entrees were the same story. On special was a braised lamb over cous cous, and arugula topped with a tzatsiki sauce. It was perfect. I feel like too often I go out these days, pay an arm and a leg, and am left with a feeling of meh it was ok. That's not the story at Onions.... we left full and smiley. Thanks for a...
