The worst and most irritating experience ever has been in the Tilton KFC, which had me unsatisfied and disrespected beyond belief. I drove 30 minutes from my house to the store and ordered some chicken on the bone online upon arrival at the store. Much to my surprise, I was told by the employees that they ran out of chicken on the bone.
I asked for a refund of my order, which I was expecting to be an easy and swift situation. Little did I expect that employees at the restaurant refused to cooperate with the refund on-site, urging me instead to request this refund online. They did not offer me substitute food or choice; neither was I given the managers name or her manager's contact by the female manager on duty.
This manager was being extremely rude, nasty, and condescending to me. I was shocked by the level of her unprofessionalism and lack of common courtesy. I couldn't believe how bad I was being taken care of for a paying customer. In fact, it has been one of the worst experiences in customer service that I have ever had to deal with in my life.
I had to call their customer service and spent over 40 minutes on the phone just to get my refund. Frankly, it was tiresome and could have been completely avoided if the manager just treated me properly in the first place.
I am determined to take this further by ensuring the district manager is aware of the appalling behavior shown by the manager of this KFC branch. This sort of behaviour is not welcome in any business, let alone a chain known by all.
I would strongly avoid going to the Tilton KFC branch, because my experience was literally a nightmare. No respect, professionalism, or customer service has been accorded by the involved staff, especially the manager.
All in all, my visit to this KFC was a bad experience on all counts, and I fervently hope my complaint results in better customer service and management at this outlet and the manager to be reprimanded or demoted. For any business, customer satisfaction needs to be paramount at all times; it goes without saying that this particular KFC has many more miles to go...

They took over 5 minutes to receive my order only 2 famous bowls no gravy plus 10 minutes for them to return and fix. the women came grabbed the messed up order with a additude didn't apologize well fixed that. Then not all apologized for wait almost 20 minutes never seen such bad customer service plus most dirty fast food place ever the drink fountain taste dirty like not being cleaned properly and asked to see if the drink fountain from drive thru tastes better but not really not sure if he even fixed them and again no one apologizes. The people I went with was already done eating and they were waiting for biscuits and no o e said anything she had to go up and ask why she didn't get all of them oh it's a 4 minute wait then 10 minutes plus we had to go back up to ask for the biscuits they didn't apologize again us after the man took my order he jumped right on his phone while people were still waiting to place there order not really busy at all. Every table were dirty this place is really gross the bathroom floor had a huge pile of water near toilet I had to hold my daughter's hand to make sure she didn't slip and fall in whatever it was never will I ever return to kfc I promise that and still didn't eat my order I feel as though the made it un proper I feel like i will end up sick so sad a single mother wasting money i dont have to go out with my sister didn't have money but haven't gone in a while so I said I miss the famous bowls and feel sick not eating it...
Read moreUpon driving up, I noted a new paving and line stripping job in the parking lot. When I looked at the building I couldn’t help but think that KFC had gone under and closed their doors, then I noted the lights on inside and realized ONLY DRIVE UP. Anyway, the building appeared to be extremely run down with the white paint trim flaking off in large amounts around the entire building and flakes of paint lying on the ground, very messy in appearance. Placed my order at the speaker and the girl was very pleasant. I ordered three 5 piece nugget dinners only with mashed potatoes and cole slaw. The young lady stated it was ok to order that way instead of with French fries. Then I was told there were no more nuggets and it would take 6 minutes to cook more, no problem. I paid for the three meals, ($29.??) and I was instructed to park and someone would bring my order out…..great. I waited, and sure enough a pleasant young man delivered our meals and we left to drive the 30 miles home. BUT WAIT, I got home, opened the boxed meals and found two meals with French fries, no sauce of any kind and one meal with HURRAY…. mashed potatoes and cole slaw, no sauce for the nuggets. All in all it was still a good meal and my wife and son didn’t really mind the fries with no sauce.
My biggest complaint I suppose would be the condition of the building. I wasn’t sure, based on its appearance if the meals would be sanitary to eat. Thanks to the crew of that KFC, good job but pay more attention to the order, as it was ordered. Ed from...
