Gatto's Pizza — Restaurant in Tinley Park

So went in after smelling the pizza from the business next door wanted to grab a menu. They had a "so called special" of pizza and a pop for 8.00. Was expecting half the pizza for that price( think joeys 2 slices and a can of pop for 5.00). Decided to try it. Watched the owner grab a slice out it in a box for me, then after I paid had an employee put it back in the oven for like 3 minutes. Got home 3 minutes away, this pizza was like a rock, the sausage was nearly as hard. This was probably one of the worst pizza experiences in my 45 years on this earth. That pizza had been sitting no less than an hour(I'm being generous). Absolute waste of 8.00, absolutely do not get their slices you've been warned. Hoping I don't get sick from it tbh, threw half of it out after trying to force it down. This was a health hazard, throw your bad product out, it has a shelf life. The whole pizzas smelled good going out. Added note: I did get the slices at 7pm on a Tuesday, still no excuse on their part but I expected limited offerings. Smaller than joeys, 3.00 more than joeys. If it was fresh it's maybe a 5-5.50 at most special. It probably would have been a great pizza if...

Great pizza. Giant slice and soda for under 6 bucks. Usually have cheese, sausage, and pepperoni available. Might even have a specialty pizza too. They have great daily specials with BOGO pizzas. The prices are very reasonable compared to other pizza places. I had always thought I'd grab a slice from there but I'd forget they were there. Finally stopped in and glad I did. Honestly disappointed I asked for the slices to be heated up as we don’t have anything to heat up food in our little office. I get told yea absolutely and then the guy in the back just looks at me and doesn’t heat up the slices. You do know your customers can see you right? honestly it’s whatever maybe just don’t tell a customer you’ll do somethin and proceed to not do it just because your lazy.
