Porto Pizza — Restaurant in Tisbury

Personally, I'd avoid this place, the pizza is just OK and the service is terrible! They do not care to have you as a customer. Specifically walked 15 minutes to get slices, as their sign says they sell Cheese and Pepperoni slices. It was more than an hour before they closed and I asked for 3 slices of Roni, the guy says I have cheese, I indicated I wanted Roni and he simply turned around and walked away, saying nothing. Will never go back to this place again! The sad part is 3 slices would have been much of the pie. It's clear the place is not run by the owner as entrepreneurs I know would have gladly put another Roni in the oven as they'd have an hour to sell it. I fly to MVY and overnight here frequently as a crew of two. I'll ensure to pass along this experience to the other 160 pilots in my company. Avoid...

Just ordered food from here. During prime dinner hours they had no staples (cheese, pepperoni). We asked if they'd have it soon and were told no. The person taking our order was very poor at their job. They incorrectly understood our order several times, and gave us the wrong drinks. We ordered 4 slices, however when they called our order they only had 2 slices for us. Normally we're very patient but this was just blatantly poor service. Turns out they had only put in order in for 2 slices. This bad system probably has something to do with the fact that they're writing everything on post-it notes, yet when taking our order, nothing was written down. Good slice shop convenient to the ferry terminal in Vineyard Haven. I had a couple specialty slices, which are listed above the registers. Both were solid: wide and flat and a little greasy. Vaguely NY style, no char. There's no interior seating, but there are picnic tables nearby. A parking lot serves this pizzeria among other businesses, and has bathrooms that close in the mid afternoon.
