Ake's Thai Food — Restaurant in Titusville

Temporarily in town in Titusville and found Ake's Thai on Google and decided to give it a shot. The restaurant is clean, smells good with the scents of the kitchen wafting to the door. I ordered the Bang Bang Chicken appetizer and a red curry lunch special and let me TELL YOU, LORD this was good. The Bang Bang Chicken was so perfectly crispy but tender enough to fall apart in your mouth with a creamy spicy sauce on beautiful fresh shredded cabbage. But the curry, that was love in a bowl. You open the container and are caressed by a wonderful bouquet of smells, the zucchini, bell peppers, and spices mingle perfectly into this enticing aroma. I greeted my first sip like I was taking the Sacrament at church because I knew this was going to be an experience. On my first sip it warmed my heart and sent shivers down my spine. Every fiber of my being wants to devour this dish but I know it would be a true disservice to this magnificent piece of culinary mastery. I made myself save the rest to experience it again when the flavors have time to mingle with each other into a new palette.

My family just moved to Titusville from Nashville and were on he hunt for delicious Thai food. Nailed it on the first try!! The coconut chicken soup (Tom kha Gai) is my and my husband’s very favorite comfort soup— today is his 30th birthday, so I placed an order for pickup to surprise him with lunch. I couldn’t have been more happy with our order— this soup is phenomenal. It is a perfect Tom kha. Lots of chicken and mushrooms (wood ear mushrooms, too! So yummy!). You can tell they really pay attention to not only the taste but presentation of their food- lots of vibrant colors. Golden and red peppers, bright cilantro, creamy soup. Mmmm.

As if having wonderful food wasn’t enough, their customer service and kindness is above and beyond. When I picked up my order, I had my baby with me, and they helped me carry the food to the car so that I wouldn’t have to make multiple trips, leaving my infant unattended.

Overall, everything was wonderful. We can’t wait...

What a hidden gem in Titusville! We called and placed our order and the woman on the phone was really nice. When we arrived I have to say the parking lot was not in the best condition so I wasn't expecting much walking into this place, boy was I wrong! At first glance the restaurant is super clean, like really really clean, for me that ticks major boxes! We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman and he offered us sample size of their Thai tea, it was very tasty so we added one to our order. We paid and headed home. We both ordered the Pad Thai and as other reviewers have said it is phenomenal! The flavors were on point, we got ours on a level 2 heat and it was so tasty! The portion size was also perfect, just enough to feed you but not fill you.
