THE RC SHOP AT DR.DANS — Local services in Titusville

What can i say about this store and it’s owner and staff... THEY ARE AWESOME !!! As a 2 tour U.S Army vet with serious PTSD, Anxiety, Deppression and other issues I started looking for a hobby to keep my mind occupied and since i lived in Titusville, I decided to pay Dan a visit to learn more. Dan greeted my as soon as i enter the door with a nice smile and a firm handshake. I explained my situation and he explained the pros and cons of every vehicle and category available (bashing,street,rock crawling, etc...) I explained to him that a friend owed me money and that i was going to settled the debt for his e revo 2.0 Brushless and his words “Do it ! A good deal is a good deal “ when i got it, i brought to him to give my car a “once over” and tell me what it needed if anything. He found a problem in the motor cables which he fixed right away at no cost. Never pressured me into a buy ( but i still bought around 800 dollars worth of upgrades that I wanted anyways, 😊) He gave me a shirt, a couple other things and a discount. We were looking for a birthday present for our 11 year old son. RC Dr. Dan was fantastic! This shop is a hobbiests dream. They had everything you could possibly imagine for RC sports. They have monster trucks, tanks, helicopters, speed boats, tugboats, rock crawlers, cars, and so much more. The store is packed with parts you can buy to fix, upgrade, or completely change stock parts out. If you don't want to do the work yourself, they have repair services available too. They also have trucks and tracks at the store where you can rent equipment to play with or pay a use fee and bring your own. They also host birthday parties and hold local events! We just went to Fox Lake last Sunday and got to watch the RC trucks ramp and fly and a few speed boats bliw up rooster tails. It was a lot of fun. So much so, we did get our son the MiniMax based of Dr. Dan's excellent recommendation for a starter truck for this new and exciting hobby! He loves it!!! Update 2/5/23 Dan, Brad and Jay are all three great at what they do. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied with their purchase and or experience. I have now been going to Dr. Dans for roughly a year and it does feel pretty good to walk in and they already know you. I will continue to go back and support this small business. (Early estimated 2022) Great place! The staff is awesome and they are definitely there to help YOU. I know nothing about R/C but I just got into it. After going and speaking with them, I know a little more. It's easy to purchase a RC but upgrading parts and anything extra I had no clue about. They have a crawler track in the back of shop!
