Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Titusville

I'm not sure why this is a highly rated ice cream shop, I think it may be because it's the only one in the area so people don't know what their missing but this was my second time coming here and it wasn't any better then my first. On my first visit I got a plain vanilla cup. It left a sour taste in my mouth after a few bites. Not necessarily rotten milk but more like sour cream. Fast forward 10 months we are back in the area and decide to give this place another try . I get the banana ice cream and my husband got the butterscotch shake. I eat a few bites and again tastes like sour cream with bananas. I thought maybe it's just me but my husband said his also tastes like sour cream. We threw them out . I guess it's just a matter of opinion and maybe just us because we're used to certain flavors buy I can honestly say we will never be back again. Their ice cream recipe is just not one we care for. Try it for yourself but if you live in a different area and have a good ice cream shop locally this is going to be sub...

We usually go to the Brusters in Palm Bay and are camping up in Titusville decided to check this one out. We should have gone to the ice cream shop closer to where we are because this was not anywhere near the product we enjoy in Palm Bay. Our wait was not long which is not usual in Palm Bay, they always have a line through drive thru and walk up! First we were hit with No waffle cones! That was fine, we went with a couple of bowls. But the icecream? Not sure what was wrong. 5 or 8 spoonfuls in and in the trash it went. Grainy and not creamy, left a film of sorts on spoon that was also grainy and stuck to the spoon. Almost as though thawed and then refrozen and maybe remixed. Not sure. But if you have ever had their chocolate raspberry truffle you would know i eat every last drop. Not tonight and we won't be back. Worth every expensive penny in Palm Bay, not worth a penny here....

Will NOT be back here! My son got a cup of ice cream, took a bite out of it and didn't like it, so I politely told the girl behind the counter, if we could possibly change his flavor because he didn't like it. She said no, he took a bite out of it. Well of course he took a bite out of it!! She then looks at the other girl behind the register and she said no you'll have to buy another one. Ridiculous!!! Are you kidding me?? I wasnt looking for a free ice cream! I was trading it for something he liked. She told me, well we offer you to try flavors, I said well no one told us that, I'm not buying another one. She said sorry, have a nice night. Worst customer service!!! They are lucky I didn't throw the stupid cup of ice cream through the window... Terrible service. Hire someone other high...
